Not bad, higher class bar and restaurant in a big shopping area. Lots of stainless and wood around, all the fermenters above the bar. Big and open but loud and almost always packed.

16 of their own beers on tap. Many different styles and some experiments, def fun to try. Usually nothing that will blow you away but usually nothing terrible either.

Servers and bartenders are typical restaurant, somewhat knowledgeable, friendly, but still feel like they are just there for their job. Food is decent, again nothing special but nothing terrible.

Visited several of the Beer Works locations - this is my favorite. Some fine ales are brewed here, and one of the places I seek out for food. The Ragin' Cajun (shrimp, chicken, rice, etc.) is fantastic as are the turkey tips. I go for the Contender IPA and the Equinox, and the cask is often very good.

This was stop #3 for my wife and I on a 9-day East Coast pub crawl and a family visit. The brewery is located in a busy retail area but sits back away from the other buildings. We stopped here in the early afternoon to try their beers, and ended up having an appetizer for a snack too. The place has more of a restaurant feel, but the brewing equipment was certainly visible to add some brewpub character.

There were 18 beers available on tap, and we ordered two 4-beer sampler flights. All of the beers were very well brewed to style, and three of them were notable: the Nobscot IPA, The Pale (squared) Double IPA, and the Bowditch Brown. Each of them gained at least a B grade in our scoring process.

Although we had only an appetizer to eat, we did look at the menu to consider a late lunch. It has a wide variety of choices, but we decided to lighten up and save room for dinner later. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the Taso Scallops, and based on the menu selections and our taste experience, we’re rating the food in this review to be very good. This was a great visit and is highly recommended.

Stopped in here over Memorial Day weekend with friends to check out the new location. It's located next to the McDonald's, with no sign on the street. Nice modern looking building with outside patio space. Nice looking interior. Lots of dark wood, huge windows, and plenty of tvs. Got a nice booth seat in the back. The problem with the windows is that there are no shades. We complained as did the table next to us. The person sitting on the sunny side has to stare into the sun the whole meal. Service was a bit off too. We were served our apps, but had to ask for silverware. The waitress told us beers they had kicked, so I ordered something different, then she told my friend later they had that beer and she meant something different. She said they have a lot of beers and the servers tend to get confused. The beers on tap were the usual BW selection. They had some British themed ones for the month, plus a selection of Imperial themed beers. The Old Ale and the Scottish Ale were both good. Food was enjoyed by everyone at my table. Prices were the same as all other BW locations. We pretty much knew what to expect here: good beer and decent pub grub. Once they work out the kinks with the service and the window shades, it will be a good place to visit again.
