Rocket Republic is very close to home so I go there quite frequently. It’s a real brewpub, so the facilities are minimalist. It is a large metal building with a bar, a couple big screen TVs and lots of tables and chairs. The owners are always there and are very good about explaining the various beers on tap. They offer samples and their flights are a good place to start. The top sellers are always available and they’re always experimenting with new brews. The Mach 1 IPA is their most popular beer and my favorite. It’s quite drinkable for an IPA and many people who otherwise don’t like IPAs really enjoy it. There are a couple other brewpubs in easy driving distance but I usually go to Rocket Republic. If you fly into the Huntsville airport it literally across the street, so check it out.

Had a blast at Rocket Republic. Brought a work mate from MN; was very impressed with the brews, the vibe, the service, and the fact that the place was packed with kind folks on a weeknight. Madison is my hometown, and I'm proud to share it with RR. Highly recommend.
