Been lurking on Beer Advocate for many years. Joined just to review this beer. A-medium amber, not cloudy, head made up of ultrafine bubbles that leave a persistent ring at every sip. S-Hop bomb, pine trees, rich yet light. T-Oh.My.God. Somebody found the recipe for the best summer day you've ever had in your life and stuffed it into a one pint silver can. F-light, lively, the carbonation really carries the taste right up into your brain. O-My new favorite double IPA. Let me be the first blasphemer to say that this Is just a hair (RCH) better than that other Vt. Double IPA, also in a silver one pint can, for which it is a tribute to.

This beer makes me feel good. 5 stars for feel! Found this all around the area in bars and had many cans, some slightly aged. All were great experiences, so this beer is awesome in my book. Have it with a pizza, you'll be happy!

Bought this in a 4 pack cans. Marketing is oh so similar to Heady Topper. Silver 16 ounce cans.

It's excellent Double IPA with very similar taste to above mentioned beer. Definitely worth getting again

What a lucky find on a recent trip to VT. A beer aisle worker at a small store suggested it and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely seek this out in the future.

Nicely hazed and even cloudy burnt orange body. Thin creamy off white head leaves sparse beads of lace. The aroma is fantastic. A melange of juicy melon, guava, canteloupe plus some nectarine and peach and pineapple...the epitome of a juicy tropical nose. The nose translates nicely to the palate, but there is also an underlying sweet maltiness that somehow ACCENTUATES the hoppiness in this beer. I'm not all that hip on "sweet maltiness" in DIPAs, but in this beer, it actually creates a final overall effect that is better. I'm not sure how this is achieved, but that is exactly how I'd describe it. The juicy tropical hop tones are present in spades. What is absent you may ask? Untoward and obtrusive bitterness. That is what is absent. I don't shy away from raw bitterness, but sometimes it can be overpowering in DIPAs. Not true in this case. This is just an unbelievably balanced and drinkable hop centric DIPA. I believe this is my 100th DIPA that I've reviewed. It is easily Top 10.
