Too much hop for me. But I can see why it is well-liked.

Hmm, have had this brew three times. First was two weeks in the can, citrus, pine, citrus. Very good to excellent. Have now had two more within two to three weeks canned. dank, cat pee, bitter. Different hops used? Bad batch of Simcoe? I don't know. Disappointed after our first very good to excellent experience.

Big can from czar, shared @ Hotel Room Tasting.

Appearance: Clear golden with a small white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Quitey leafy with moderate spiciness, caramel and a bit of citrusy and resinous hops. Not exactly stellar aromatics here.

Taste: Slightly to moderate sweet, quite leafy, caramel and ligth bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Moderately dry. Sticky leafy aftertaste.

Overall: Subpar DIPA. Not super heavy, but way too leafy and lack of depth. More aromatics hops would help too.

Far too malty for my tastes. Hop profile is muddy on the palate, cant define anything beyond basic bitterness. The shocking amount of sweetness leads me to believe it is under attenuated. Maybe with some tightening up this could become a good recipe but for now...

Pour is golden amber with a good bit of fairly tight white head. Nose has a hint of pale malt, resinous hops, light citrus. Flavor is more citrus, strong hop punch, moderate resin, fair bit of orange citrus. Fuller body, a touch syrupy and heavy, decent carb.

Canned Nov 3rd 2015, opened Nov 21st 2015

A - Bright light gold body with a beautiful neon-white head that pours 2 fingers high with great lace and nice retention.

S - Herbal thyme, saw dust, snow, and pine.

T - Meh. A mild off-vegetable note throws this off a bit. Cilantro, celery, wet leaves, wet pine, honey and bread crust.

M - Medium body with low carbonation.

O - Not great imho. It wasn't ultra fresh, but still within reasonable bounds.

Poured from can to pint glass. Cloudy orange color. Head thinned out very quickly compared to other big DIPAs. Not much lace on the side (glass was clean). Piney bitter, some sweet citrus flavoring, but nothing striking. Warm alcohol at 8%+. Decent DIPA, not great. Not quite as tasty as I hoped.

Copper/golden body with a big white head. Smell is muted. Some hints of pine. Taste is distinctly malty. Some hints of pine and citrus pith. Thick malty body.

Can: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with some earthy hops notes is pleasant enough. Taste is not as sharp on hops as I would have expected with some citrus notes and a lightly sweet malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not as much floral hoppy notes as I had expected form a Vermont IIPA. May be due to fact that brewery is only starting.

Look was orangish brown, not much on the nose. Taste was ok. Overall, unremarkable
