This beer pours a super hazy golden orange color with a massive, dense, foamy white head. Retention is excellent and there are tons of sticky chunks of lacing left all over the glass.

Smell is very subdued. Orange, citrus pith, pine and some sweet and bready malts are there, but they certainly don't jump out of the glass at you.

Taste is very similar. The flavors are a bit more pronounced, but for just over a month old I was expecting more. The citrus and pine are supported nicely by the malts and the finish is moderately bitter.

Feel is light side of medium, smooth and slightly resinous. Moderate carbonation as well.

Overall this beer is pretty good. I'd certainly not turn it down if I was offered, but it is very middle if the road and not something that I would seek out.

My first from this brewery.

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice hazy dark golden yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger plus white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, very nice citrus complex (tangerine, orange, grapefruit, pineapple), with some pretty nice pineyness. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, very nice citrus complex (tangerine, orange, pineapple, grapefruit), pretty nice pineyness. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a very nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Thanks Bill!

Tasty. Smelled very good, citrusy. A little more bitter than I prefer.

A good beer. Decent taste but more dark than citrus flavor.

Excellent lattice on the glass for lace. Modest to moderate head, but it lasts throughout the tasting. The color is gold with a mild haze.

The smell is mild. The strongest aroma is from the alcohol. There's a bit of pepper from the hop as well.

The flavor is similar to the smell except that the strongest element is an earthiness up front. The hop and the alcohol are more muted than the smell suggests. The body leans rich but the carbonation is also elevated. The aftertaste is mostly alcohol.

The beer pours pretty much pumpkin colored with a fairly thin white cap, halfway decent cling after the head falls to a few rafts.

There is the typical citrus punch in the aroma, mostly grapefruit but a little orange sneaks in. Sweet malts, and a little resin, a little floral, a little earthy. More or less checks all the DIPA boxes.

The beer drinks smoothly. Surprisingly not overly bitter, definitely citrus heavy, but adequate malt to keep things in check. Gets a bit more floral as it warms up.

Sticky, but dry finish. Seems a tiny bit watery to me for the style.

Overall, it is a good beer, but not really in the upper echelon in the style to my palate. Worthwhile to give it a try.

Pours a deep yellow with minimal head.
Bright citrus on the nose, some pine in the background. Dank with a fair amount of bitterness, some citrus shines through in the form of grapefruit, lemon, and some mango. Good amount of carbonation.
Solid DIPA, very flavorful.

A: Pours a dark reddish-orange. Good sized tan head. Head retention is okay with thin tendrils of lacing.

S: Lots of sweet citrus in the nose. Definitely got a strong malt base, plenty of caramel sweetness in there too.

T: Oh yeah, citrusy for sure. Sharp grapefruit mostly I would say. Lots of heavy bready malt afterwards with a touch of caramel sweetness. More grapefruit in the aftertaste with some herbal hops.

M: Medium bodied, somewhat sticky.

O: Not bad, a stout DIPA for sure. A bit one note with tons of citrus and bread and not much else. Well balanced and tasty nonetheless.
