Our flagship beer! Brewed with four American hop varieties, Valor is a hoppy Amber Ale balanced with citrusy hop flavor and aroma, clean bitterness, and a slight caramel sweetness.

From a 16oz can dated 5/10/23 into a 20oz "pint" glass.
Pours a slightly hazy orangish, yellowish brown with about one finger of light tan head. Decent retention and lacing.
Smells are mild but getting some pine and fresh cut grass.
Taste follows but stronger. Pine and grass. Maybe a bit of saltine cracker. Not getting caramel like others...maybe slightly burnt caramel? Not off-putting. Quite pleasant actually.
Pretty full-bodied for the abv-almost a little chewy. Nice bitter, roasty aftertaste. Low carbonation.
This is a really solid beer-almost surprisingly so. Loaded with flavor and body.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass; born on 2/21/23. Pours reddish amber with two fingers of head; lots of great lacing and retention. Burnt & bitter hops up front couple with subtle notes of caramel. Good!

Blue on blue can, no packaging date I could find.
It pours pretty - clear, medium amber, more golden than red. A firm cap of pale tan foam lasts to the bottom below spatters of lace.
Let this one warm up.
Soft malt nose of caramel drizzled walnuts and floral hop spice. Good amber ale aromas but understated.
The flavor is also understated but at 5.2% (according to this can) I think that is what they were shooting for.
Not really "hoppy" but a bit dry on the finish as this has solid malt character, but very little body to prove it.
A toasted nut, all grain goodness with bit-o-honey tastiness gives way in the end to a dry and dusty hop finish.
The aroma and flavor reminded me a bit of North Coast Red Seal Ale but not quite.

On tap in a nonic glass, right here in Jersey.
Caramelized amber color with a clean white cap, 1-plus F worth. Nice looking brew.
Heavy dose of caramelized malt with some citrus and earthiness, pine.
More caramelized malts follow with a touch of grapefruit and pine.
Medium body, malty and chewy with enough hop bitterness to tame the malts.
Struts like a big 'un but drinks easy at 5.4% abv.

A: The beer is slightly hazy orange amber in color—a apple cider like appearance when viewed from afar—and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass after it settled down.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel and biscuit malts are present in the nose along with hints of citrus.
T: The taste has flavors of pale and caramel malts with notes of citrusy hops. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Although the hops in this beer aren't overly prominent, this Amber Ale doesn't taste as malty compared to other beers in the style.
