Pours a cloudy peach colour. Smells light, funky grains and yeast, nor much rhubarb, and not much else. Tastes like it smells, funky grains and yeast, slight tartness, slight fruitiness, not much rhubarb taste, slight chalky mouth-feel.

This beer pours a slightly cloudy yellow with a solid head. The aroma features notes of citrus and a definitely discernible rhubarb, and just a touch of spice. The flavoris crisp and refreshing, with notes of orange, golden apple, pear, rhubarb, and flowers. The mouthfeel is quite light with refreshing carbonation. Overall a really tasty beer, with great refreshing zing.

Much better than last year's batch. Nose is typical of a wheat, orangey and slightly spicy. Taste brings spiciness from the rhubarb, orange, a bit of sweetness on the finish. Light, effervescent, dry finish. I don't love the style, but this is a great beer.

never heard of these guys before the minnesota trip, but they are so awesome, and both beers i had from them were incredibly impressive. amazing packaging too, just beautiful label art, thats what sold me in the first place. i like this being an imperial wit, stronger and more wheat in the base. it gives it a lot of body and toughness, makes it appropriate in all seasons instead of just warm weather, and really gives the rhubarb something to hang on to. i always see rhubarb in conjunction with other fruits, strawberries or apples or something, nice to see it in isolation in this beer. very pale pink color, feminine looking, frothy soapy white head too. smells and tastes like tangy rhubarb and wit yeast fermented warm. a little medicinal for a moment in the taste, and a hint of bubblegum from the yeast, but the rest of this makes perfect sense. the tang of the rhubarb with a little hint of confectioners sugar from the malt, sort of like the way i would eat raw rhubarb, really cool there. i like the belgian authenticity of this too, as an american wheat it would not work half as well, as the spice and fruitiness in the yeast really blend in well and bring it all together. overall a real impressive brew, with a nice frothy expansive mouthfeel and a long lasting finishing thats holiday-esque to me. not sure i would buy this again, but its one of a kind and definitely worth picking up.

L:Pours hazy straw under a ½” quickly dissipating foam column. The foam is easily roused and lacy. S: rhubarb, caramel, spice with malt and some earthiness in the background. T: Tart up front both from the rhubard and from the wild yeast. There is spice in there but it is hard to pick out. F: Has very fine carbonation with a little bit of a carbonic, acidic bite. Light and tangy. O: Rhubarb is an interesting addition to a wild wit but it is very nicely done.
