Maple-amber beer with a nice, paper-white, lacy, meringue-ish head. Powerfully hoppy aroma, like getting bashed in the nose with a pomelo. Resinous grapefruit and yuzu, fresh and grassy bell pepper-like spice, a hint of celery, and big Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc-like tart vinous notes. Really makes an impact, and that's before I've even taken a sip.

The flavor is massively juicy. Concord grapes, tangerine, lemonade, and gooseberry abound. Well-balanced with a nice, airy mouthfeel, dry and bubbly but substantial. A hint of dusty yeast and a drop of grappa-like booze maintains a distinct Belgian character despite the big American hop onslaught. This is a clever, interesting, and very very drinkable beer. Nice work.
