In my possession for 8 months now, however its "drink by" date isn't until the end of June. It took the preparation of a home cooked meal to inspire popping the crown of the 500 ml bottle. Thanks for the bottle Sergio! On to the beer:

The color is nice, as it looks like a golden sunset. Not as nice is the head, which barely forms and is just a thin lace for much of the adventure. The rest of the adventure was a surprise, even to me, given my record of tasting Brazilian beers and knowing that a Brazilian saison is as rare as snow in Curitiba. Smells like a saison; spicy, mint, lemon peel, white pepper, and a gentle tartness.

On its own, it tastes good. With food, it tastes better. Tart lemon peel is the dominant flavor, which is complimented with vague spices, rye, citrus. A little different from the aroma, as the taste is more forward with the citrus. Very refreshing, more so with the help of the light body and soft carbonation.

Refreshing and easy to drink. Really one of its kind in Brazil, at least until Brix puts their saison into higher production.

Light sunny orange color, hazy, white head, svelt retention, no lace.

Bready, musky, yeasty, star fruit, golden raisins, lemon.

Yeast esters, slight funk, bread crust, pale fruits, earth, musk, white grapes.

Medium body for the style. Could be more carbonated or effervescent.

A sweeter, more yeasty Saison, but enjoyable.

Nice brazilian saison (the first I've drank) of a golden/ocher color and a great foam, extremely white, dense and persistant.
Smell is earthy, spicy and a bit salty.
Taste is earthy and a bit salty too, spices are more evident, some black pepper notes. It also reminds me of some witbiers.. there's a wheat flavour evident. There are some fruit tones too - difficult to distinguish - I could feel some banana and cherry, maybe a slight tone of plum.
Mouthfeel is outstanding, big body and an appropriate carbonation.

Slightly hazy golden orange color with a two finger thick head with medium retention.
Delicious predominant aroma of peaches, mint, Belgian yeast and bread.
Flavor of champagne with strong notes of Belgian yeast, musky, white grapes, pineapples and lemon. Hints of fresh cut oranges, coriander and a light funkiness. Mildly acid and dry aftertaste.
Light to medium body with low carbonation.
A yeasty and musky Saison with tropical flavors. Positive local surprise.
