Belgian-inspired brewery with a focus on oak-fermented and aged wild ales. The tap room is small but clean and comfortable. They had 17 beers on tap and 14 different beers in cans/bottles to go. The quality of the beer is very good to excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Lots of hard working young ones working the place. Very knowledgeable. 13 beers on tap and cool industrial type setting off the beaten path. Great beer.

Solid brewery with a reputation for great sours. Nice atmosphere and great service. Purchased a flight of four beers and enjoyed them all. There was at least 10 beers of different styles on tap.

Arrived before the crowd, place looked clean and orderly. Beer samples were all fine. Our bar-tender Sam was friendly. Wish head brewery was a little bit friendlier, he was busy but we were the only one in there at the time. Belgian beer inspired. I finally got to visit , having had their beers at many beer festivals.

Small little brewery on the north side of Geneva with a nice tasting room consisting of several tables, benches, and the bar itself. This is an industrial-esque setting with lots of metal in the tasting room so this place can get quite loud rather quickly, even wen only half full. No food is served but you can bring food in and/or order it while you are there. Selection is roughly 10 beers or so with several being rotating, I'm assuming due to smallish capacity. Service is very good, cheerful, nice, and quick. They also offer tours of their brewery for anyone interested.

Attended a special event at the brewery on release day for Wild XVIII.
Not the typical taproom experience, there were a number of special beers on tap throughout the brewery to accommodate the large crowd. Everything went smoothly and everyone seemed to be enjoying the day at the brewery. They set up extra seating and tap stations with designated line areas, and a catered BBQ station as well.

The taproom itself is smartly designed with a mural of various elements of the brewing process on the wall opposite the table seating and bar. Some windows in the front and a side garage door let in some natural light. Rustic reclaimed wood on the bar and hanging above with pendant lights extending down over the bar. Service was quick and friendly over the course of the day. Diverse local crowd, friendly relaxed vibe.

Beer selection was outstanding, over 2 dozen Penrose beers including many of their wild ales, which was very impressive, though exclusive to the special event. Typically there are 12 or so house beers on. Overall we had a great experience here, and I'd definitely return when in the area.

A very fun tasting room to check out. They typically have between 5 and 10 of their beers on tap and available, by the glass, flight, or growler. They have the whole science of brewing on the wall and really push a fun but chill environment. A very enjoyable place to grab a beer.

I love this place, live near this place and will check in on it often.

Vibe-very modern/industrial with community tables. Order at the bar and plastic only I believe. Nice wall art/mural. Not overly loud but friendly and there are games to play if you choose.

Quality-no food, all beers are made well. The off part about Penrose is that they speak about how they aren't the big hop heads but then 3 of 4 of their year rounders are pales or IPAs with fairly assertive hop profiles. That being said, I'm a big fan of aggressive beers and this is not Penrose's strong suit. I wish their "all the time" beers better represented what they're about. When they release a sour, wild or specialty saison, watch out! These are what to order. They range from interesting to phenomenal. I'm a big fan of the most recent wild (I think XI) and the ginger saison which I haven't seen since last year.

Service-It's fine but can be a touch slow/disorganized if they're busier.

Selection-Per above, I'm a big fan of their special releases. My opinion of their selection varies pretty significantly between visits. If they have their year rounders and one "special" beer, I can feel a little underwhelmed. Last weekend, they had their usuals plus a wild, session sour, white IPA w/Brett, grisette, etc. That was a great showing!

Overall-per above, for such a new brewery, I think they're showing great. I just hope they better represent what I think they're about in their regular brews.

Atmosphere - this place was done right from top to bottom. Beautiful tables, taster trays, bar, seating and everything. When my only complaint is that the soap was a little too strong after washing my hands I cannot say enough about this brand new place.

Quality - belgian style for sure. There were only 4 beers on tap, so I cannot really compare too many beers.

Service - one of the owners came by to say hello and chat with us. I hope that trend continues and it really made the experience that much better.

Selection - only 4 beers at the time and 2 were both dark belgians with one having coffee added.

Value - $5 pours so pretty typical.

Overall - this place is brand new and I would love to go back and see what they are brewing down the road. Lots and lots of potential for sure.

This taproom is top notch. These guys clearly spared no expense. Reclaimed wood, repurposed light fixtures, and great murals/wall art. It's just updated enough to not be kitschy or trying too hard to be hip. Plenty of space, lots of tables, and numerous stools. The staff is very friendly and willing to lend an ear. There are taproom only beers that make the experience worthwhile. Growler fills are a bargain as are the $5 pours. The taproom is clean and well maintained. Can get a bit loud when packed, but most places are like that. Clean, sessionable beers are the primary objective here. The taproom only beers are more adventurous. P2 and Devoir are go-tos, while Navette is very solid. The taproom is comfortable and fun. The rest of the brewery is very clean and impressive. The barrel room is on the way to being filled, and the logoed glass window in the taproom gives you a perfect view of the barrels.
