Had fresh on tap at the brewery. Tastes like a rank weed. Malty and dry. Not juicy at all.

Thick, white head. Mostly clear, medium gold look. Light, floral and spiced malt aroma. Heavily citrus peel and herbal flavored, with an ample bite that lingers. Medium light body.

LOOK: golden yellow color, light haze, medium off white head, good retention.
AROMA: pine, lemongrass, regular grass,
TASTE: green wood, resin, hairspray, ash. Some citrus notes quench a little, but hard to get through the tacky wood/resin/ash.
FEEL: light to medium body, good carbonation,

Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow. Big foam. Very dank aroma. Big dank hop body. Strong bitter finish. More of an old school IPA. A little watered down but pretty good.

Very good IPA - not too NEIPAy. Pour straw yellow with a nice head; decent lacing as you sip your way through the foam / beer. Light citrus smell with equally matching taste. A bit on the watery side but a very good beer!

16 oz can. Pours muddy orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is similar to aroma. Finish is long and dry. Good brew.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) to a conical pint glass; canned 05/06/20.
A: Pours a cloudy, lemon yellow color with a no more than one finger, white head, rim plus retention, and little or no lacing.
S: Aromas of white grapefruit, lemon, barley, oregano, and light pine. Barley and oregano strengthen as it warms.
T: Semidry. Palate flavors largely favor the nose with definitely lemon core, but again barley and oregano predominating. Slightly peppery bitterness is light with a clean, refreshing finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Palatable, but not to my liking. Far too vegetal for my taste, to be honest.

My 4 pack (from Shaw’s in Ludlow) seems overcarbonated. Can’t pour it without excessive foaming. Once that settles down it tastes ok, if a bit sour for my taste. Not terrible, but nothing I’d buy again.

I normally love Mosaic hops. I tried three different cans in a four-pack; they were all disappointing. No head when poured, a little dirty golden-brown, neither cloudy nor clear. Bouquet quite yeasty, a (pseudo) Belgian note, kind of thin and bitter on the palate. I rarely pour beer away, I did it with this one.

16 oz can split with my brother-in-law. Tons of tropical fruit and citrus aroma and flavor with some wheatiness. Mild bitterness. Clean, crisp, and tasty. Surprisingly, my wife liked it and she very rarely likes IPAs of any type.

Pours a murky, turbid, burnish dirty orange with lots of brown. Almost zero head is produced. A razor-thin collar lines the perimeter. Not an attractive beer.
Nose: But the aroma on this is just insane. As soon as the can is cracked, there's just tons of cilantro, grass clippings, lime leaves, slightly fermented raspberries, tortilla chip, unripe guava, and a whole lot of petrichor. Unmistakably Mosaic. Insane levels of Mosaic. Also very dank for Mosaic. Like a "dirty Mosaic".
Palate: This may be the first example of a Mosaic beer I don't totally enjoy. It definitely is a "dirty", dank Mosaix profile. Similar to the earthiness of Simcoe. Lawn clippings and cilantro arrive first. There's this lime-like character to it, bit again, it's "dirty". There's so much chlorophyll. Just a green, herbaceous, macerated smoothie of leaves and twigs. The bitterness that comes in towards the finish is very plant-like. Not piney. Not citrusy. It truly does taste like a plant smoothie.
Mouthfeel: This has to be the finiest effervescence I've ever encountered. Millions of microscopic bubbles dancing about your palate. It's fuzzy. Truly champagne-like.
Overall: I'm really torn. I've always enjoyed Mosaic. The fruity, berry side of Mosaic. This is one of the funkiest, earthiest, most herbaceous beers I've ever tasted. It's a bit too out there for me, but I'll give it credit for uniqueness. I just let my mother (who does not enjoy IPAs in the slightest) try it, and she offered to drink the rest of the can. She loved it. Just shows it's all subjective. My score is a meaningless number. I did not enjoy this, but one of you, reading this review, standing in the aisle looking at the beers and contemplating whether or not to buy this one...one of you will absolutely adore this. Give it a go.

My first Lost Nation. Nice cloudy grapefruit juice color that shapes the taste . It has unique blend with the DDH mosaic mix that leads to tart flavor. I'll sample more LNB.

Green hued straw color with a whitish cloudiness. Good starting head which fades to a thin layer of bubbles. Limited lace--minor spots and streaks.
The smell is mostly grapefruit rind. It's hard to tease out the malt base which features the faintest of tropical fruit.
The flavor is similar to the smell in that the malty base is so very brief (and not sweet like the smell). Highly carbonated with a light to neutral body which enhances the biting hop bitterness. Not smooth but also not extremely harsh; definitely bitter with a long lingering aftertaste.
