recently got a growler fill of this from the bev. consumed the same day. nice looking brew.
awesome nose on this one - totally unexpected! tropical notes of pineapple, orange, soft peach, dank earthyness, grass, light garlicky/onion spice and slight funk.
palate is citrus up front, bright orange note, followed by bready malt and sweet grains, lemony citrus, grapefruit, grassyness, spicy onion and garlic, and a light hoppy bitterness on the finish.
feel is a little watery but only a minor complaint as its still tasty and highly drinkable.

Hazy dark yellow with a well-retaining lumpy head of dense off-white foam.
Taste seems way stronger than 4%, delivering a heat which is amplified by the fact that it's quite bitter and chewy. This may just be due to the aggressive hopping, but it tastes more like a WCIPA than a saison, and I mean through and through.
I can't tell you how many heavily hopped saisons I've had by the likes of Jester King and the Belgian originators, but this is just too much, allowing no room for any nuanced yeast expression.
The medium body's filling froth comes to a just dry finish.

Poured from a 16 oz can.
L - Large fluffy head with golden amber color; a lot of effervescent
S - Sweet bananas
T - Decent carbonation with subtle hops and very light malt
F - Solid
O - A great table beer. Not strong and pairs well with outdoor food (sausage, brats, etc).

I've missed that onion stench.

On tap at The Reservoir, Waterbury, VT. I helped kill the keg. So they had it in a mason jar for me, the rest is based on observations. The appearance was basically a hazy burnt yellow color with a light transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising to fill a quickly dissipating white foamy head. Moderate lacing. The smell had some sweet citrus, light floral, and then some white pepper. Belgian sugars underneath. The taste was mainly sweet initially following through into the white pepper nicely. Light semi-sweet Belgian sugar aftertaste. Wet sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and smooth. Nice stickiness. Not cloying, good. Overall, I say this was a pretty good Belgian ale that I would have again.
