look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75
Appearance: 1/4 inch head, medium-high carbonation, gold in color, clear
Smell: hay and peaches
Taste: Peaches and hay dominate with slight pear and pepper
Mouthfeel: sweet and funky, medium-light in body, medium-high carbonation
Overall: I find this similar in overall taste to their gose. It is an above average saison that hits everything that I expect from the style. There is enough here to keep me curious about the brewery.

On tap at the brewery.
A: Light amber color, slightly cloudy, good sized, sticky off-white head.
S: Clove, Juicy Fruit, pepper and coriander right up front; a little sweet malt and yeast character in the background.
T: Like the smell except that malt comes to the fore mid-sip. Finishes with southern Belgian yeast character, very slightly tart.
M: A little full for a saison. This seems to come from the spice notes/additions. I'd like tarter and drier.
O: Good beer, but a little tilted toward spice for me.

Had at Lost Nation on Saturday, 9/26. Pours blonde in color, clear, with a small head that fades. Nice aroma of malt sweetness and a big yeast spice note front and center. Flavor follows along, it's sweet, but a bit too much. Yeast is there along with coriander and esters, but they don't mesh too well with the sweetness. Finishes wet and has the right body, carbonation a little too light. A good attempt but just misses the mark being too sweet and undercarbonated.

Served in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance - Huge white head. Excellent surface foam and lacing. Hazy orange body.
Smell - Spicy and estery. Cloves. Some sweetness in the nose from doughy malt. A hint of funk.
Taste - Sharper taste of some citrus here. Grain more prevalent, but a bit of lingering sweetness. Still fruity esters. Slightly bitter in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium body, pushing heavy for a saison, especially of this size. Well carbonated.
Overall - Second beer by this brewery and I'm impressed. This is good stuff.

The appearance was a glossy orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. There’s barely any lacing. The smell starts off with a rustic to funky sweet citrus running over top of a light bubblegum aroma. The taste was mainly sweet through the bubblegum and citrus. Lingering sweet bubblegum aftertaste leads to a wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and leaves a sticky sweet smoothness over my tongue. Overall, for a saison, it’s super sweet. I didn’t mind it for me, though.
