Typical EAV dive bar vibe, dimly lit at night and frequented by hip clientele. Tap list is deep and full of high quality options, thankfully freshness has never been an issue for me. Food is pretty good: mostly sandwiches and pizza.

Visited on a Wednesday night just after dinner rush. Sat at the bar.
V - A nice bar, but the vibe is not all beer. Big and open. Dark when they turn down the lights. Take your date, your beer buds or just folks to have a good dinner. Menu is nice but a bit limited. 4.25
Q - A wide variety of glassware. All seems clean. No complaints. 4.25,
Ser - Friendly, knowledgeable, parings can be a challenge but they try hard. The bartenders share customers which I am familiar with but then you loose that connection and knowledge that comes from having the same tender all night. 4.5
Sel - 30+ beers on tap. Fantome Saison in a bottle. A very good selection of local but nothing resembling a whale. 4.0
F - I had the NY strip which was an 1.5 inches thick and then cut against the grain into strips. I asked for it medium rare, which the kitchen accomplished, but the steak was still dry. 3.75

Checked out this place after a Cardinals Braves game on 9-04-15. Reviews for Argosy were excellent and they had what we were looking for in a great selection of brews and a solid menu.
I kind of understand as to why there is no picture here on BA, as one picture would just not do it justice. The outside is very inviting as it sits in a cool neighborhood surrounded by other unique shops, eateries and bars. The mural painted on the side of the building is worth a picture itself. You are greeted by a standing chalk board as you walk in that has all the new release tap beers listed. The vibe inside is a mix of the Herot and H.R. Giger bar. The only draw back may be that it is a little to dimly lit. I had to use my phone just to read the draft list. The architecture has a heavy woodwork influence with an eclectic mixture of artwork to boot.
The quality and selection of the of brews available left no beer lover wanting. Nearly every style was represented and they even had a few barrel aged offerings. On this night I enjoyed Creature Comforts Tropicalia IPA, which paired well with the Brick oven pizza we had.
We very much enjoyed the Freitas(French Fries) that were served with 3 different dipping sauces that we choose. The Pizza was solid but lacked seasoning overall especially in the crust.
Our server was very attentive to our every need, but offered no knowledge as to the beer menu. That may have been because I knew exactly what I wanted shortly after looking at the brew list. Overall our service was excellent and as I looked around it seemed that the other servers were very in tune with taking care of all the patrons very well.
This is a place that I highly recommend for anyone in the area. I could have spent all night here no problem. Prices were fair to slightly high, but not outrageous.

Nice looking, comfortable place. If I didnt live a few thousand miles away in PDX, I'd be a regular here. Our bartender on this visit didn't seem to be too knowledgeable, but was friendly and attentive. From a beer nerd perspective this was the most interesting taplist I found in the Atlanta area. The bottle program is also very good, but nowhere near the level of Brick Store. A very good beer bar with the potential to be fantastic some day. Highly recommended.
Did not try the food, but the menu looked good. Wood fired pizzas with some locally sourced ingredients and some interesting sounding spins on pub grub.

Been twice now.
It's a relatively huge, multi-level space with awesome artwork and reclaimed wood everywhere.
First visit grabbed beers at the bar with my wife and a buddy. The bar is huge and cozy. The area we sat in had some kind of lounge seating.
Second visit for the CBS release they opened up the back room, which is another awesome space. Big Sea monster sculpture on the ceiling, gaming, seating, and a couple other draught lines.
Had an excellent time on both occasions. Selection is always on point. Service has always been very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
Another world class bar option in Atlanta. We're spoiled.

Great atmosphere. Good food. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. And a solid beer selection with the occasional beer event that is excellent. Still a fairly under-the-radar craft beer bar, but that may be due to its location in EAV. That's fine with me; I hope it stays that way.

The atmosphere here is amazing, very open unique. Great ambiance. Service was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. They had a wide, large selection and I might have rated them higher if not for the fact that they had sold out of the first two beers I wanted. A bit disappointing. The food was serviceable.

Great beer selection. I'm surprised this place hasn't blown up. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Huge bar with a very good wait staff. The unique hotdog combinations were a big hit with our party as well. They had all of the new Orpheus beers on tap. I'll definitely frequent the NE location often.
