Pours dark amber with a large head.
Nose shows lemon, elderflower, kiwi fruit, soft light cookie dough-like malt and funky yeast. Pretty amazing.
Very bold flavours, more lemon and funky yeast along with some of the cookie dough-like malt. Finishes aggressively dry and slightly metallic with an assertive grapefruit-like bitterness.
Far too much carbonation.

500mL bottle thanks to [email protected]

Heavily hazed dirty orange with a middle of the road white head that falls over a couple of minutes to a film.

Nose is a proper tropical melon assault. Palpably juicy, with serious body from the yeast. Alive with jungly, perfumey organic overtones. Gorgeous.

Flavours are more marmaladey as the earthy bitterness and spicy dryness from the yeast countervails the sweet high notes, but the fruit-salady notes are far from obscured.

Huge body for 6.2% Brimming with yeast product and hop resins. Carbonation is nice and buzzy, but doesn't neutralise the meal-in-a-glass feel. Borderline metallic aspect to the dry-bitter finish.

Struggle to think of a more impressive exemplar of the style. Amazing expression in the nose. The heaviness of the body impairs drinkability, but it couldn't really be any other way given what this is trying to do.

On tap at the Local Taphouse.

Pours a day-glo orange colour, big opaqueness. Head is off-white, almost yellow. Nice lace. Looks awesome. But a bit weird.

Smells fucking awesome. New world hops mixing with funky saisony barnyard notes. Gets a big fresh grassy character, touch of rubber. What a great mix of funk and hops. Superbly blended.

Tastes similar, with plenty on the funky side. Saisony notes, with hop notes giving passionfruit and pine and a touch of mango. More hoppy towards the back and a lack of saison notes to be honest. Decent, but leans heavily on the hop characters. Nice, but i feel the nose blended the two aspects more successfully.

Bit of an edge of carbonation . Feels a bit rough on the back. OK body though.

Although it has more hop notes than saison , it's very tasty. A good refreshing beer.

Tried on-tap at the Local Taphouse in Sydney during the first day of Sydney Craft Beer Week.

Pours an opaque golden yellow colour with pretty decent heft to the body. Head forms a decent, full mesh of white that leaves some minimal streaky lace. Carbonation is also minimal, but quite fine where it forms.

Nose is good: funky and bright right off the bat. Some citric hops come through with organic, slightly herbal undertones. Orange peel and brett. Slight vanilla character comes through along with a little vanilla and a faint astringency. Good stuff all up though, and quite potent.

Light zesty entry on the palate paired with a clean malt character and minimal funk. Indeed the funk stays out of the mid-palate as well, leaving some citrus, energy drink powder, orange skin and a slight astringency. The astringency swells slightly towards the back, bringing in the funkier characters: earthy, organic and peppery. Good bitterness on the back. Feel is clean and bright with a little heft.

Overall, this is very drinkable and refreshing and full of flavour. It's nicely balanced as well—overall, very good stuff.

Good name and another brewer that's beginning to grab my attention,it pours a hazed mandarin hue with the fluffiest three finger head and bubbly lacing everywhere, the smell just screams summer it's tropical fruit salad, pineapple, mangoes, mandarins and bubblegum and just by the smell I know I'm gonna like it and the mouthfeel is full bodied quite bready almost filling and is a little over carbonated for my liking and the tastes are mangoes, guava, mandarins, bubblegum and finished with a tropical punch bowl bitterness and overall i really like it but the body could be a little less filling cheers.

A - Hazy dark amber /gold, lovely soft pillowy head. Moderate lace.

S - Summer in a glass, apricots, mangos, peaches, funk, zest.

T - same as smell but less so. Balanced, moderate grassy hops, belgian yeast, funk. Jury out as to whether the lightweight flavour is a good or bad thing.

M - lively, zesty.

O - top stuff. A long time since I have had a medium ABV beer that is so light on palate and easy to drink.
