On tap at Cammeray Craft.

Pours a dark cola colour. Head is beige, nice and dense, fairly creamy. Head's a bit pale but really pleasant nonetheless.

Smells roasty and chocolatey. Sweet with cocoa and a big sweet spice note - cinnamon mostly. Touch of coffee, touch of medicine. Sour cherry. Gorgeous brown ale nose. Just the way I like it.

Taste is bitter, far more coffee on it and quite astringent. Also finishes a bit short, and definitely lacking the sweetness promised by the nose. Nice, but leans far more on the earthy spicy bitterness than any of the other elements that the nose has. And I'm not saying I'd prefer the others over this, I just wanted more of the whole blend.

Bit of sizzle but body is alright; goes down nicely.

Palate disappoints but only because the nose is so good. Decent brown ale.

Pours a dark brown hue with a lucious three finger off white creamy head and lacing here and there, the smell is a nice even mix of piney hops and chocolate malts with the hops just edging he malts out,the mouthfeel is medium bodied moderately carbonated with tastes of strong piney hops which really dominate the chocolatey malts compared to aroma and the finish is quite hoppy bitter and overall it's a very hoppy brown borderlining on a black but if u like your hops worth a shot while it's this fresh cheers.

Pours a black but a bit brown in the light. Nice white head and lacing.

Nose is hops and lots of roast. They are pretty well balanced with one another, the hops are there but they do not dominate the roast, which is manifested in strong coffee and a bit of brown ale-y chocolate malts. Hop profile reminds me a bit of BrewCult's previous Keep On Truckin'.

Taste is big roast, big hops. A sort of reddy hop flavour- thinking tomatoes, general fruits, possibly red berries, bit of pine. Continuing potent coffee flavours.

Mouthfeel has that strong coffee flavour and the hops almost keeping up. Finishes in an ashen coffee bitterness.

Pretty ambiguous between this being an American Brown, Hoppy Porter or simply Black IPA, but nice effort regardless.
