Thanks Chris for sharing this one!
Hazy gold, thin broken skim, spotty lace.
Yeasty aroma, vaguely herbaceous, not a substantial aroma.
Lightly tart, tangy and astringent, phenolic notes in the aftertaste.
Light to medium bodied, yeast forward.
Could use more complexity, no Galaxy comes through either.
Overall I was left wanting more.

750 ml bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy golden yellow, with a full two finger head on an average pour, lots of thick, foamy lacing. Smell leads with an aromatic Belgian yeast, light malt, a light wine aroma that kind of fades in and out, a little funk, a lightly floral aroma. Taste also leads with the yeast, some earthy hops, malt, spices, some lemon, light funk. A subtle bitterness at the finish. I did not get any noticeable sourness or tartness. Dry, smooth, solid body, well carbonated.
This was a really pleasant surprise. Based on other ratings, this was far better than expected. Maybe letting it age nine moths helped, but this was flavorful, fairly complex, and fun to drink. You could argue it's a Saison, but it's still good, and I suppose Wild can be in the eye of the beholder. Only negative was the high price point.
