Pours a hazy dark orange with fine, yellow-hued foam.
Smell is juicy and tropical, with notes of pineapple, mango and carrot juice. Soft and slightly sweet.
Taste is sweet and hoppy with notes of juicy tropical fruits, mango and pineapple in particular. Moderate bitterness but waaay to much hop burn, finishes like lactic acid, almost burning on the tongue.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, this has the makings of a great NE IPA. It is known however to vary wildly between batches, and the one I got was way too astringent and not very pleasant to drink.

Pours a vibrant golden orange with two fingers of white head that hinges around for awhile.
Smells of citrus, mango, pineapple, light resin, slightly dank.
Taste follows, great Citra/Mosaic combo. Citrus, mango, pineapple lead the way. The lactose isn't too heavy in this one.
Medium to full body, smooth, creamy feel with food carb levels.
Overall an excellent NE IPA, as good as most of the best examples we have stateside.
