If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. But are you crazy enough? Show those guys that are inching their way on the freeways in their metal coffins that the human sprit is still alive. Mosaic. Citra. Centennial. Columbus. Lots of barley. Touch of wheat. The sea swallows the Sun. And who knows if it rises again. Vaya con dios.

Easy drinking on the sweet side with a nice bitter hop bite. Good beer.

Not bad but certainly not outstanding.
I'll work my way through the 6 pack I bought eventually.
Not impressed with Burial.

Absolutely overrated. Beyond overrated. But very decent low tier craft, try it, you might disagree with me.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, slight haze, 1/4 inch head, some lacing and head dissipates to ring on glass sides even with some rousing.
Smell is citrus, lime, stone fruit, some wheat and toast, light biscuit.
Taste is more citrus, light stone fruit, wheat, toast, biscuit, maybe some granola and herbal note.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness with a softening from the wheat but a lingering bitter bite.
Overall a very good pale ale/IPA hybrid with a hint of wheat and solid bitterness.

On tap in a pint glass.
Light yellow gold color, clean white cap, 1F. Heavy sticky lacing.
Mixed aroma: strong fruit blend, pineapple and other tropics, lemon-orange citrus, black and blue berries, stone fruit and lime. Wheat.
Heavy on the tropical fruits, blueberries, lemon lime citrus, apricot, wheat. Flavors are abundant.
Dry medium body. Wax-y. Hoppy and fruity.
It’s ok considering it’s a mash up of fruit juices.

Poured into a short Shaker pint.
A: Bright yellow with 2-finger rocky white head with good retention and thick lacing.
S: Strong pineapple, mango, orange, and lighter peach hop aromas with low esters
T: Flavor is fruity and low-medium bitter with pineapple, orange, lighter lemongrass and peach flavors and low esters. Lighter pale malt sweetness.
M: Light-medium body with enough heft to provide good balance and dry finish.
O: No wonder they sell a lot of this IPA - flavorful, highly drinkable, and accessible.

Not ready to kill off their resinous ways, Burial brewers set their sites on the surf and sun of the West Coast in a surfing inspired ale that's bright enough to wake the dead.
Chocked full of Mosaic. Citra. Centennial, Mosaic and Columbus hops, Surf Wax swoons the senses with a juicy citrus, tropical fruit and stone fruit perfume that floats above a pale golden body and a bright white foam. Its initial sip provides a softer malt sweetness of caramel, honey, lightly toasted shortbread and mild nuttiness to suggest granola-like flavors.
Adding more fruit flavors, the hops complement the grain sweetness with a rounded and juicy flavor of tangerine, grapefruit, mango, apricot, lime, passionfruit and pineapple in a full fruit cocktail of flavor. Trending herbal and balanced, the hop bitterness remains smooth but grows into a sweetly resinous taste with hemp, tea, lemon pepper and geranium to finish.
Medium bodied and shy of the dryness and bitterness of true West Coast IPA but this more balanced approach is a welcome flavor for fans of pale ale with a new hop twist. Finishing bitter-sweet and malty-dry, this beer has a taste for all hop lovers.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Nose is citrusy. Taste was initial citrus that gave way to apricot or maybe slightly peach. Feel is a decent bitterness. Superbly well done!

Very nice W Coast IPA….with a high profile Citra and Mosaic to lend a touch of juiciness but no overbearing sweetness. Nice complex fading head, solid clean bitter finish that makes it easy to pour another.
Moving to Delaware in the spring… this is a NC brew and brewery I will miss.
