Purchased as a single can from The Blue Door for $3.00. Poured into a tulip glass.
L - Hazy yellow, with a two-finger sticky pale-white head. Lacing is excellent.
S - Clove, coriander, passion fruit, and earth. Fruity. Citron zest.
T - Matches nose, with the addition of a few notes: wheat, banana, and allspice. Orange peel. Slight ethanol towards the rather dry finish. Well-balanced.
F - Medium-full body, with almost nitro-like carbonation. A bit oily.
O - Fantastic. An absolute mid-day treat. Will purchase again.

This is an excellent saison in the tradition of Saison Du Pont. It was an excellent compliment to the cheese board my wife and I enjoyed at the Looking Glass Creamery.
Poured from a can into a shaker pint. Hazy bright yellow color with fluffy white initial head and excellent curtain lacing. Wonderful fruity and yeast smell and taste. Nice rye spice with lemon, orange and candied lemon rind. Very nice beer!

A - Pours a hazy golden color, some transparency, but with a white cap after the moderate head fades. The lacing is small bubble, and leaves lines of bubbles across the grass.
S - Big nose of banana and spice, with a barnyard bit of funk beneath.
T - The banana carries forward, bread maltiness, pungent yeasty funk, and a sour and bitter bite in the finish.
M - The pour is moderately carbonated, moderate weight, and a dry close.
O - A solid Saison that brings some Hefe aspects with the banana notes. Tasty.

Look: It pours golden with slight haze and a white head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has a strong spicy aroma with citrus, dough, and some earthen elements. There are some peppery elements with low grape.
Taste: It has orange and grape flavors with plenty of spice and dough. There are some earthly elements and pepper.
Feel: It has a medium light body with a dry aftertaste.
Overall, it's got plenty of flavor and aromas with the classic dry finish.

12 oz can 03/08/21, a clear golden orange with minimal head. Minimal head...sadness. Aroma of yeast, spices, maybe some banana. Taste is right in line, very Belgian-esq, doughy rounded finish. Carbonation medium, feel is a touch sharp as is expected with the style. Overall, worth a go.

Picked up a 12 oz can from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 4-5-21 for $2.50. Indistinguishable can date; consumed 4-16-21.
Beer poured a deep gold-orange with a smallish head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is pilsner malts forward with a small nuance of saison yeast phenols hay.
Taste is malt forward sweetness balanced by a nice dry hop. There is an ever so slight touch of hay and barnyard but not much influence in the after taste.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and just kind of there. Expecting more lightness around it.
Overall the base saison nose and taste are pretty well done but kind of lacks the phenolic flavor impartation in most i have had in this style.

Can courtesy of BellsRinger. 1 month old.
Inscribed “welcome relapse”. Wtf? Alcoholism is not a joke.
L: mostly clear golden with a slight haze, with a very fluffy head and lacing.
S: earthy, bananas, clove, floral. Perhaps a bit of horsey barnyard notes.
T: banana/clove, earthy, little spicy on the finish. Slightly sweet.
F: full with dry finish.
Overall: solid saison. Not crazy but checks all the boxes. Always appreciate a saison.

Really spicy aroma and the taste is a really nice blend of the Belgian yeasty notes, hops and a really pronounced grain bill. I think they blended this beer very well. At only 6% it actually feels heavier with such robust flavors and body. Highly recommend.
