(NOTE: this is a review of the 15% double barrel 2020 version. Probably needs a new entry, as it's pretty different from this one)
Released 12/16/20; drank 12/23/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a small, noisy tan head; almost no lace.
Oak, bourbon, mild cream & faint chocolate notes in the nose.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Cream, oak & bourbon flavors up front; mild milk chocolate notes on the finish.
Robust, certainly; I didn't find it as complex as the brewery's description, but I certainly enjoyed it.

On tap. Tan head. Black color.
A lot of bourbon and roast. Oaky. Some
Vanilla. Lots of cocoa and chocolate. A little coffee bitterness. Some marshmallow. Medium to full bodied. Solid ba stout. Yay willet barrels.
