Pours black. Foamy, medium, brown head that lasts shortly.

Smells raspberry, roast, light cocoa and earthy.

Tastes tart raspberry, dark chocolate, roast malt. Followed by coffee and earthiness. Finish is Semi sweet with a raspberry and earthy linger. Lighter medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

Pour a rich amber brown color in a tasting flight. Raspberry and cocoa nose and a nice medium body. A nice tartness from the raspberries. Overall very good dessert beer. It reminds me of Lindley Park from Olde Hickory. I think I might like this version a little more.

Really enjoyed this one. Nice combination of flavors and full body for the abv. Hope to grab more before it's gone.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark black with reddish highlights and a large brown head. The aroma is sweet cocoa and malt. The taste is roasted malt.

This is a very fruity stout with a decent amount of raspberry flavor. The stout characteristics come through in the form of chocolate and coffee. It all blends very well.

Lots of raspberry on the nose. Charred chocolate a bit more prominent in the taste, though the lingering, jamm-y berry is definitely there. This is a well-balanced, roasty porter that certainly doesn't skimp on the berry flavor -- though thankfully still manages to evade being overly sweet.

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark chestnut brown colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy mocha colored head that slowly reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of roasted malts, chocolate/cacao nibs, and slightly tart raspberry.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted malt and chocolate malts with just a hint of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of slightly sweet, mostly tart raspberries and moderate flavors of cacao nibs. Hints of earthy hops towards the finish. Light to moderate amounts of lingering roasty bitterness.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.

O: Enjoyable and very easy to drink, a dessert beer but not one that is overly sweet/cloying but rather because the chocolate raspberry combination reminds me of a dessert. Alcohol is well hidden.
