The oldest of trees beckon the widest of blades. But the biggest require the help of a gang of blades, teaming up to provide the deepest array of cuts. This DIPA is born from an arsenal of ingredients. A pils base is fortified with NC-malted wheat, while Amarillo, Mandarina Bavaria, Simcoe, and other hops feed off the tropical juiciness of a house wild yeast. Expect tangerine, pineapple and mango from this super hop juice.

16 oz can lured into a tulip glass from 10/6/17. Pours a clear orange with a half finger head. Aroma of sea salt, hops, tropical fruit and citrus. A touch of dank. The taste is right in line, tangerine, orange and mango with a touch of heat. The feel is medium heavy, carbonation is medium low. Burial continues to do good work. Recommended.

Draft at Churchkey. Hazy golden, orange tinge. Small, tight creamy head. Tart citrus and hops in the aroma. Taste is sharp and biting, lemon juice on a fresh cut sting. Bitterness rises on the way out, drying out the whole deal. Interesting, and complex.

Slicing and dicing through the hazy beer scene, Burial leaves no hop behind when devising an imperial, juicy IPA that's part hazy and part bitter for a best of all hoppy worlds experience.
Pale peach and cast in a medium silt, Gang of Blades rises with a creamy eggshell froth and a vibrant hop perfume of tropical fruit, citrus, stone fruit, melon and herb for a pleasant citronella scent. Sweeter though in its malty upstart, the impressions of honey, caramel and shortcake largely frame the early taste.
But as the hops pull from the flavors, they command the taste with a heavy fruit cocktail melange that starts with branch ripe tangerine, red grapefruit and lime before transitioning to more succulent tropical flavors of mango, passionfruit, papaya and guava. Hints of nectarine and apricot come about before the bitterness of soft spruce, fresh grasses, hemp and peppery resins finish off the session.
Full bodied yet on a drying track, the beer is more bitter focused that most hazy ales but without the tongue stripping bitterness of west coast varieties either. Landing somewhere between gives this session a rounded, juicy and complex taste with a semblance of refreshment and drinkability.

Someone, anyone say HAZY? This beer is as hazy as they come. Color is like orange juice. Head is super white and the head leaves nice lacing. Nose is citrus. Taste is also citrus, with leftover bitterness that grows. Smooth drinking beer.

An excellent offering from a superlative brewery. This beer I might have let sit in my fridge for a little bit too long. That being said, it’s a great Double IPA. A murky golden color with an overripe citrus fruit nose. The taste is fantastic, though. I don’t think I can ever say anything bad about Burial Brewing’s offerings. If you have the opportunity to try this one, don’t tarry!

Nice lighter golden and hazy with a white head, this beer looks decent. Citric tropical nose with some sweetness in there, this brew is going good so far. Citrus based flavor with only slight bite is what you are looking for. A bit less body than I was imagining but a quite good brew here.

Translucent yellow-orange body; nice head, thick and creamy. Fresh citrus and tropical fruit aroma, primarily orange and pineapple; a touch of wheat and other cereal grains noted. Earthy, estery flavors combined with a bold hop bitterness; mild citrus; biscuit and bread crust; bold hop bitterness. Heavy body; creamy with a dry edge; alcohol dryness.

Pours a medium straw color, ample foamy head that lasts. Nice citrusy hoppy aroma, lemon, orange, mango. Flavor is citrusy, lots of juicy orange, light lemon bitterness, some tropical fruit as well. Good carbonation, slightly boozy with the &.3% abv. Overall a very tasty DIPA, would buy again.
