a collaboration with civil society, and about as much hops as can be packed into a beer, one of those many times dry hopped complexions, but the hops in the mix are awesome. yellow colored pale beer, starchy looking and rather dense with sediment under a frothing white head. it has citra hops, which to me are quite apparent, especially in the nose. it also has summer hops, which i have discovered only this summer (haha) are sort of savory, vegetal and without the citrus notes so many hops have, quite an interesting hop, and it gives this some balance across the board. there are waiti hops too, which are newer to me but obviously an intense new zealand white wine and melon and kiwi southern hemisphere thing, this to me is the dominant hop in the beer. the amarillo lupulin powder element is cool too, i havent seen it from this hop yet i dont think, but its highly aromatic and like a fresher and cleaner and bolder version of amarillo, which i love as well. i wish the base beer was a little lighter, brighter, and less weighty, but at least its relatively dry and well carbonated. amazing fruitiness to the hops, light bitterness but intense still, really nice combination of hops, thats what i will remember about this one. burial can do no wrong in my opinion right now, this one is killer!
