Look - really nice incredibly dark brown with a slight brown head that goes away fairly quick
Smell - roasty malty with a very slight cinnamon
Taste - nice roasty malty as expected with a brown with a slight nutty cinnamon vanilla taste, not too sweet
Feel - medium full body with a medium carb and so creamy
Overall - really nice imperial brown with a nice added spice but still not over powering the brown

A guy I work with said this was his favorite beer from North Carolina. The good sir gave me a can of this stuff and after sitting in my refrigerator a few days my wife cracked it open and I was able to steal half of it. The can looks pretty cool and colorful and all that. I can't really smell that well, but I assume the beer smells good. It certainly tastes pretty good. Go ahead and buy yourself a case of this stuff when you get the chance!

Had on draft at Appalachian Vintner in Asheville, poured in snifter.

Described as a “Baklava Imperial Brown ale”, this is super tasty. Getting a lot of cinnamon, which I am a sucker for. Definitely worth a go if pastry beers are your thing.
