Notes:
Our mystical beast. Aged with the same double dose of nibs and Tahitian vanilla but then steeped with an uncanny hoard of roasted and salted hazelnuts. A mash-up of Portal and Cursed Path we just had to do.

While I prefer a stout with a bit more body, the flavors of the Burial stouts have been on point. Vanilla beans and cacao nibs mix to create an unmistakable pungent, uncooked brownie batter aroma. The aroma is intoxicating. I can’t keep my nose out of the glass. As it warms up, the 15% burns on the way down, but your mouth is filled with rich flavors of those half blondie/half brownie desserts with a bittersweet chocolate morsel finish. Somehow manages to balance the sweetness at such a high ABV. While Burial fails to meet the viscosity levels that I prefer in a stout, there is no questioning their ability to coax amazingly balanced flavors from their beers. It’s a more than fair trade.
