Notes: Awakened among the sea of our dire circumstances. Treading water that rises with each dreadful hour. Alone in our boat, fearing the flood. But these tired arms and bailing buckets help keep us afloat. A lesson in adaptability. A meticulously planned blend of our favorite flavors. For survival is encapsulated among the blood that flows within. All the hops, all the grains, and lactose too. Galaxy, Mosaic, El Dorado, Simcoe, Riwaka, Cashmere, and Citra and Amarillo Cryo.

Canned 9/28/21

L: Pours a super-hazy yellow with a fluffy white head that quickly thins to a coating. Very pretty and splotchy lacing.

S: Aroma is tropical, mostly mango. Not strong.

T: Creamy mango and lemon up front, then a slight bite that is not unpleasant. Finishes dry and slightly bitter. Great juxtaposition of tropical and bitter/dry.

F: Slightly thick mouthfeel. Lactose is noticeable but not obtrusive.

O: Look and taste were outstanding. Aroma and feel less so, though not bad. A very good beer that could possibly be even better if the lactose was dialed down just a bit.

Super hazy bright yellow pour with a finger of white foam head. Smell stars pineapple, orange, papaya, mango, peach, grapefruit, honeydew, and lemon with herbal, piney and dank hops. Taste follows the nose but more intense, is a luscious with the fruit, hops are vibrant and formative, lactose kiss rounds out, incredible neipa. Juicy, creamy, dank and crisp. Completely blown away by this one, bravo!

Canned 7/8/20; drank 7/25/20 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull yellow/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice white head; nice frothy lace.

Mango, lemon, mild cream & faint wheat notes in the nose.

Soft, creamy medium mouthfeel.

Mango & mild lemon flavors up front; cream & dry grass notes on the finish.

NE IPA excellence; the fruit notes are unique and the base beer is near perfect. A home run.

A: Pours a milky murky pale straw yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + pale yellow + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a couple of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of extremely thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Just shy of strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, stone fruit/apricot, tropical/melon, citrus/orange, herbal, and pine/resin hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with moderate amounts of lactose sweetness.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with moderate amounts of lactose sweetness. That is followed by just shy of strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, stone fruit/apricot, tropical/melon, citrus/orange, herbal, and pine/resin hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving lingering sweet citrus + tropical hop flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a very pleasant combination of hop flavors and aromas with just enough (and not too much) lactose sweetness. I could easily have a couple of these and would be happy to grab it again.
