Notes:
Imperial Stout with Toasted Pecan, Maple Syrup, Onyx Coffee, Cocoa Butter, Cinnamon, and Mexican, Tahitian, and Bourbon Vanillas
Another year. We are once again the tortured and the delighted. The beings of calm in the pall of blanketing darkness. And our penchant resides in an immersive illusion that we shall always be reminded of the shadow hiding from the light. Upon the tide of eight passings we reflect on our finest stouts ever in one package. These pages shall once again be filled with lore. A vegan-friendly adventure layered in the lap of a quite intense overindulgence. Eight ingredients forge a perfect swath of flavor. We find ourselves digging through maple coconut pralines, pecan pie covered in white chocolate glaze and a rinsing of salted caramel coconut shake.

Appearance: Pours espresso colored with a small beige head forming; leggy with a drizzly lacing
Smell: The pecans and maple syrup are prominent as adjuncts and join with the chocolate and coffee tones; hints of cinnamon and vanilla, as well
Taste: Maple syrup and pecan pie sweetness, from the outset, with chocolate building; some cinnamon peaks through, in the middle, with the vanilla arriving, as well; throughout the experience, the coffee provides balance and adds just a hint of bitterness to offset the sweet tones
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: The kitchen sink of adjuncts was thrown at this beer and, while it is a bit sweet for my palate, it all works well
