Imperial stout with honey, toasted coconut, toasted dates, and sea salt.

Allow the mind to slip into the void. Indulge in the absence of unrelenting order. Where the fabric of being is nothing but loose threads. An imperial stout brewed with our neighbors to the south at Little Cottage Brewery. Tending to a meticulous six-hour boil, spent diving into our mutual music tastes, we then fermented this massive offering on honey before conditioning on fresh coconut, toasted dates, and a touch of sea salt. Enjoy mounds of no bake coconut date balls coated in dark chocolate and drizzled in Manuka honey.

500ml bottle. Etched bottle marking is '024027052371A'.
Black colored body. A thin brown head forms when poured and this quickly fades to small islands and a full ring. No lacing but leaves behind a sheen on the glass.
Aroma of roasted malts, with subtle hints of dates, honey, and nutty coconut.
Taste is honey sweet, and based with roasted chocolate malts. Dates is another flavor. There is apparent coconut, which adds a bit to the sweetness but contributes more to woody fibers. All flavors continue into the aftertaste, especially the honey sweetness.
More than medium mouthfeel. Slight stickiness. A hint of saltiness on the lips. Higher ABV% is well hidden because of the sweetness. Quiet carbonation.
All adjuncts add to the sweetness, but the flavors are rather low key. This allows for slow sipping and concentrated exploration.
