While wandering the airport in Brasilia during a lengthy 6 hour layover before my flight back the the US, I found this nice little craft beer bar amidst the gift shops.

The place is small, but manages a few tables in and outside of the glass shop, with to packed displays in front, 2 coolers on either side of the register, and glassware and miscellaneous things on top of the coolers and shelves.

The selection is impressive, FWIW. Decent amount of Brazilian beer such as Colorado, Baden Baden, Wäls, Eisenbahn, Bamberg. I had the Baden Chocolate, which I'd recommend. They also had a few Mikkeller not seen in the states. I had a Rauch Pils, too. Some Belgians such as Rochfart, Leffe, Choufe, La Trappe, Chimay, Duvel. Some pretty standard Germans. Also some American beer like Brooklyn, Anderson Valley, and Anchor.

Service was great, not much else to say.

As with most things beer in Brazil, its expensive...and being in an airport doesn't help. My 2 beers + tip came to R$70 (roughly $30-35USD), which i expected since Mikkeller is expensive even in the US. But, its worth it, especially if you're waiting out a layover.

Not at the airport any more, like the other two reviews. Now they have one stablishment at Asa Norte and another at Asa Sul. Both very similar to each other.

It's a great place to hang out with friends and talk about beer. Differently from other bars, there's not much noise, so you can actualy talk and listen to people!

Great beer range, great service and great prices $$$$.

This shop is a little 12 by 15 foot oasis in the middle of the Brasilia airport (I’m actually wondering if this is a temporary location while their main site is under construction). There are six round tables and twice as many chairs. Glass and drywall share equal space to enclose this modest area. Two friendly guys manage the products and cash register. Businessmen bang away on laptops and carry-on luggage creates a miniature obstacle course. Airport noise pours in from the two entrances.

They have a handful of bottles stored in one of the two refrigerators flanking the counter, but most are resting on shelves built around one end of the space. Considering the size and the location, there is an impressive selection of beers from all around the world. There are a number of Belgian beers like Affligem, Chimay, Duvel, Lindemans, and Orval. There are plenty of German brewers to choose from such as Weihenstephan, Erdinger, Oettinger, and Schneider Weisse. England’s Adnams had a pretty big presence there, and I saw a Le Trappe or two sitting on one of the shelves. And of course there were Brazilian beers from Colorado (Appia, Demoiselle, and Indica), Cervejaria Bierbaum, Cervejaria Amazônia, and Eisenbahn. On the back wall there were a couple bottle/glass gift-pack boxes from Colorado, Paulistania, and Erdinger.

This little shop absolutely made my lay-over. I had enough time to enjoy a couple bottles and get some work done before I hit customs. The employees were friendly and knew how to pour a beer. Please note that it is on the “other” side of security, so if you want to drop in, make sure you allow yourself enough time to get back through the metal detectors.
