Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. can into a Russian River pint glass.

A: Pours a dark gold to light brown, and is very, very hazy. Forms a thin off-white head, medium visible carbonation, and has a significant amount of hop floaters. It really isn't particularly attractive, and looks very yeasty. 2.5/5

S: Nice citrus up front (oranges, less grapefruit), some bready malts, and a bit of resin, grassy and herbal hops. Not a huge nose, but pretty pleasant. 15/20

T: Citrus and floral or grassy hops, less resinous, and a significant bready malt sweetness, accentuated by a lot of yeast. This is closer to balanced than expected, but I'm not sure that's a good thing. Moderate flavorless hop bitterness in the hang, and it seems a bit under attenuated. The bitterness in the hang actually increases as the beer warms. 30.5/45

M: Medium to a bit heavy body, especially considering the listed style. Average carbonation sensation. For the listed ABV, the alcohol comes screaming through. I don't know if it's inaccurate, or if somehow 3.7% can taste like 6.0%. 5/10

O: I really wanted to love this beer and support another up-and-coming local brewery, but I just don't think I can get behind this one. There are just so many other clearly superior offerings in cans around – even local options. It's certainly drinkable, but unless it gets improved significantly I can't see buying it again. 14/20

bagged a growler from total vino in sarasotaville for this one. The ABV is quoted above 10%. so worth the extra ducats it cost to fill my little brown jar.

tasty, but i wouldnt go as far as to call it citrus as much as cocoa or coffee. its darker than most ipa's with sweet aromas and nice mouth feel and flavor.

It has a kick that does not fade. warm and cool at the same time. the bottle was empty before i got my fill, and a shame that FLA doesnt cotton to the 64oz growler, cause heaven knows we need em.

drink this Tampa brew and be happy doing so.
