This Double IPA is hopped with all "Simcoe" hops and aged on lemon peel. This hop variety showcases a medley of citrus and tropical flavors, which we boosted to another level with the addition of lemon peel.

On tap at the brewery. West Fargo location.
Clear golden pouring beer. There's a white head and some lacing on the glass.
Aromais quite strong and it is hop based. I get a good pine aroma and a hint of dank.
There's a lot of hops here. The pine starts it off. There's a dank backside. I am not the biggest dank fan, but it is restrained here. There is some bitterness, but not extreme.
Resin feeling. Clingy. Full bodied.
Damn good, and good to style

It's clear (if just a little, lightly hazed), bright golden color, slim white head.
In the nose: Bold and brilliant. Screaming Simcoe. Citrus, pine, stone fruit, and, yeah, a good dose of the litter box. Simcoe in your beer? You're gonna get some cat pee.
In the mouth: Juicy, light bitterness, fresh hop flavor. Clean, lightly malty, delicious. Alcohol provides no hindrance just yet. Drinks down like a dream. The citrus and stone fruit is popping in the flavor. Tropical? That's here, too. Just a little bit of mango in my life, to match the grapefruit and orange. Here comes the ABV, tasting like candied fruits, gummi bears, grapefruit zest, ...tasty stuff, indeed. I'm digging it.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a finger high frothy white head that has very good head retention properties and also left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of orange and grapefruit citrus along with notes of passionfruit.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a lot of complex aromas and flavors.

Poured from crowler can into glass. Fill date is '8/13/18'. Listed ABV% is 8.2.
Somewhat cloudy, orange/pale gold colored body. Two finger of creamy, bubbly head settles to a thick, firm cap. Leaves behind a good spotted pattern of lacing.
Aroma of orange, papaya, grapefruit, and melon, along with the lemon.
Taste opens up with tropical fruit sweetness and then progresses to a blast of fruit rind bitterness. The lemon provides a topper over the hop flavors.
Smooth, medium to full mouth feel. Good carbonation.
The somewhat tart lemon lingers after the hop flavors are expressed. Good balance overall between the fruity sweet and the hop/lemon rind bitterness.

L: Hazy light orange/yellow poured from a very large can into a Spiegelau glass. Instant 2 inch white, fluffy, lingering head. Great lacing.
S: OMG. Like brewing suds in my garage! I didn't think they could bottle that wonderful, bee-attracting scent! Floral, tropical, juiciness!
T: Identical to the smell! No bait-and-switch here! Wonderfully tropical sweet with a GREAT bitter to counter. This is all about the hop flavor - the single usage of simcoe - like someone squeeze all the liquid they could possibly extract from hop pellets direct to your mouth!
F: Perfect little bubbles coax a dry mouthfeel. Such a great combo!
O: Didn't think this was possible. As a home brewer who is enamored with the hop smells during a boil, this DIPA envelops everything I wished I could get from a beer!

AP: Lemon yellow sun appearance. Tight ivory white head. Spotty lace.
AR: Minty, herbal, grassy
FL: Great hop flavor. Herbal and grassy and a little pineapple and a little mint too. Even a little lemony. Great melange of hop flavores. Bitterness is very even keel . Not abrasive at tall
MF: Medium bodied and perfectly carbonated
OV: Rally smooth, easy drinker for a DIPA. Full of flavor.

L-Cloudy, deep golden
S-Fresh, piney, nothing catty, or garlic or onion like which I get (and do not like) sometimes in Simcoe beers
T-Pine, spruce, fresh citrus, again none of the bad catty notes
M-medium to full...not sticky sweet like some
O-Does not taste huge or oversweet. Nice clean drinking DIPA with fresh flavored citrus and pine notes. Impressive. Tastes like an IPA with Simcoe hops in it :)

This beer pours a hazy tannish orange with a small head. The aroma is straight up citrus, with orange leading lemon. The flavor leads with bitter orange, with hints of mango, pineapple, grapefruit and peach. The mouthfeel is thick but not syrupy. Overall this is anwesomly juicey double IPA.
