Notes:
Shaq and Kobe.
Thelma and Louise.
Frodo and Sam.
Vince and Jules.
Citra and Mosaic.
The biggest hop duo of all-time make their return to Junkyard in a knockout display of hazy perfection. Elegant flavors of creamy citrus and white peach are amplified by a kaleidoscope of berry notes interwoven with an earthy, dank, yet clean backbone. It’s the perfect one-two punch. An ultra-hip hitman with an affinity for philosophical discussions. But don’t get too comfortable around ‘em, because when you play with matches, you get burned.

Hazy yellow orange, minimal head and lacing. Citrusy notes of pineapple, lemon, and orange on the nose. Same taste notes, but milder. Lighter to medium bodied, slightly dry finish, subtle alcohol presence. Good, but not great.

Pours hazy, straw-color with small head. Smell is citrus, pineapple, some berry and mango. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is soft with some astringent hops at the end. Alcohol well hidden. Enjoyable.

Canned 7/22/22 (2 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (15% clarity) light to medium orange color with a strong, white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of citrus, green citrus, pineapple, green melon and white peach notes. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of ornage citrus, lemon citrus, some Asian citrus notes. Sweet pineapple and melon. Sweet tropical fruit lingers off the end and leans sweet. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. A balanced finish, with a slight astringency. (4.00)
Compared to Drekker 2 Right Eyes 9/30/22: Pours similar appearance. More citrus, green citrus and lemon. More pineapple rind. Less dank and ripe berry and melon notes. Less tropical. Lighter and cleaner.
Overall: A very nice NEIPA and showcase of the Citra and Mosaic which can do so many different things in a NEIPA. Nice citrus notes. Some Asian citrus and pineapple notes. A touch of dankness. But still drinks balanced and complex in the flavor profile. Complex flavor and very balanced for a NEIPA. (Rating: 4.15)

16oz can pkgd 3/15/22 printed 8% ABV into an Imperial pint glass.
L: Pours hazed dull white grapefruit juice w/a 3/4" shiny eggshell white tight head, low carbonation, decent head retention, spotty skeletal lacing.
S: Moderately dank, grapefruit, citrus, citrus pith, bread dough, wet dog.
T: Caramel malts, biscuit, mango, papaya, citrus zest, light pineapple pith, a hint of black pepper, lightly sweet/tart. Light citrus rind lingers. Reminds me slightly of a pineapple Dum Dum brand candy sucker on a stick.
F: Soft, smooth, semi-juicy, moderately thick med-heavy bodied mouth feel w/a semi-dry finish.
O: A fairly large tasting American NEDIPA that is slightly tropical, thick & smooth, well balanced and rich. Alcohol is very well masked and it is very excellent in it's style.

Ultra hazy. Bright golden / orangish hue, large and lasting ivory head above.
In the nose: Citrus notes, orange, lemon, pineapple, guava. A touch of the tropical, too.
In the mouth: Smooth, hoppy, slightly sweet, lightly bitter. yum. A dum dum. Huge citrus, lots of tropical, tons of sweetness to match a big batch of bitter. Quite tasty. Medium bodied, easily consumable. Very juicy. Especially likable.
The bitterness is still too mild for me, but the is what the style is all about, so I can't really complain. This is by itself absolutely delightful. I'd gladly turn to it, again and again. I can't recommend this highly enough.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit cloudy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of mangos and orange citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of papayas. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this New England-style IPA had a nice balance between the citrusy and tropical fruit hops in both the smell and taste.
Serving type: can

750ml CAN, into a pint glass. Canned 10/9/20, so 6 weeks old.
Looks very good. Dull thick orange juice body. Bright white head persists in good form throughout, leaving excellent lacing.
Strong clean tropical fruit aroma.
On tasting, very enjoyable. Manages to be smooth yet still a little sharp on the tongue at times. Good hoppy taste, warming throughout the throat and chest. A nice sweetness from the malt and the hop profile. Very restrained bitterness on the edge of the tongue.
Mouth close to full, finish fruity bittersweet.
Overall, very nice drink, well brewed and balanced. Appreciate the fat can as well.
