On tap at the Bier Stein today. There are some nice aromatics from the mosaic hops in this beer, but otherwise, this is a fairly simple, straight forward IPA, that actually drinks more like a hoppy, dry pale ale. It's decent, but there are a lot of better, more interesting options brewed here in the NW. Hard to imagine ever wanting to order this again.

Date code of 2507 (early Sept'17) - today is Jan 18th '18. Bought in a bomber at Costco. Clear, dark amber pour, quite pretty. Aroma is pine and citrus with light breading. Taste is a little different from most IPAs and in a nice way, with malt coming in first, then the hops kick in big time, with solid biitterness with no harshness. The ABV is moderate and that helps moderate the mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Well done.

Touch of haze through gold beer with lots a small bubbles. Low sticky white head. Grassy smell with dandelion and bitter lettuce. Also some apricot on the nose. Taste is juicy chlorophyll with a bright pine resin finish. Thick and stick and dry on the finish.

Cloudy and hoppy been waiting to try this beer until I can find the freshest bottle. Found one under a month. A little muddled with grapefruit and tropical fruits taking the lead. Very balanced with a light bitterness lending its way toward A good drinkablity. Definitely will get this again.

Nice crisp hoppy taste with subtle malts. But the more I drink, the more I taste the malts then my palette gets use to it. But overall, it's good. It's like a maltier ruination ipa

22oz poured to tulip
Appearance is a very cloudy dark gold, good 1.5 fingers of pale gold foam. Head dies off quickly
Aroma is a hop heads dream with lots of pine, fresh mowed clover, grapefruit and little bit of biscuit. A nice floral blush
Flavor is more dominated by the grassy and significant bitterness, grapefruit and more grass in the backend. Muddy yeast note. Distinctively unsophisticated and raw.
Mouthfeel is fine for an IPA, good body and carbonation
Overall this beer is very memorable for the aromatics, but the flavor is frankly a bit forgettable beyond the bitterness. Inappropriately cloudy for the style, and that dark cloud carries over to the flavor. Nothing really "off-putting" I can put my finger on, just seems as one dimensional as the name implies.

Slightly hazy amber brew with a big foamy head in the St. Bernardus globe. Watery and refreshing body. Big dark hop taste.
Very leafy and aromatic. Herbal but clean flavored. Moderate bitterness. Sweet malt and fruity hops. Then a piney hop finish.
A hop stew, but a pleasant quaff with a mix of hop flavors swirling in the mouth. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Liticker's Liquors in Ocean Beach.

22 oz bottle from "Lifesource" Salem OR
$4.49
Cloudy burnt orange coloured body with a large rocky cream coloured head.
Mostly honeyish malt aromas, a bit of resiny hops.
Very balanced for a IPA..malts are strong caramel and semi sweet hops light resin.
Nice mouth feel..creamy smooth OK.
An OK beer but too balanced..i feel this might be old.
