12oz can poured into 14oz tulip. Poured a lightly cloudy dark gold color with just 1/4 inch of white head that had low retention and moderate lace.

The aroma was mostly musty hops, with a touch of malt sweetness. Similar on the tongue, with a touch of hop bite on the end.

The body was on the full side of medium, and had a semi-sweet finish. Drinkability was good. Overall, a pleasant enough brew, if not particularly memorable.

A huge thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple, some peaches, malts are present, moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

I CAN't believe what a great resource Tavour is for CANs! I signed up on a whim, but the CANs are outta sight, baby! Dig? Man, what groovy beers they have available! This CAN is more proof of the idea that the graphics just Pop! as opposed to their paper-label CANterparts. Gorgeous!

I Crack!ed the CAN open & beCAN a slow, gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. Once acCANplished, an in-glass swirl was in order, raising three-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with excellent retention, leaving nice lacing in its wake. Color was a gorgeous Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with NE-quality clarity. Nose was very tropical fruity, but held in check by an earthy maltiness. It still fell short of the bitter style guidelines, though. 8=( Mouthfeel was medium, but slick, almost oily, slithering & snaking across my tongue. The taste was more akin to an APA than an AIPA with a preponderance of tropical fruits acCANponied by a slightly woody, slightly toasty maltiness. It was like a mélange of fruit butters/preserves, slathered on wheat or rye toast. Mmm. Have you ever had fruit butter? The whole fruit is used & it is rendered down to spreadable mush. It is like fruit essence without pectin or gelatin. Here, I got not only mango & papaya, but also apricot & peach. Mmm. But where was the bitterness?!? 8=( Finish was dry, but not as bitter as I would have liked from the style. Still, this was quite good.

$ 4.646 (including shipping)/12 oz can ($ 0.388/oz) from Tavour, Seattle, WA.
Can dated 34617, stored at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.25.
Body – Golden, clear, effervescent.
Head – Large (Maximum 5.5cm, aggressive pour), white, low density froth, good retention, diminishing to an irregular one to four mm ring fed by effervescence, a thick, rocky island covering about one third of the surface, and leaving plenty of lace from head retraction.
Lacing – As the level lowers, the remaining lacing is a tight ring of tiny to very small bubbles.
Pour – Light yellow, clear.
Aroma – 3.5 – Spicy citrus
Flavor – 3.5 - Begins dry and slightly bitter with some citrus ghosting through the middle. It ends with a slight chalky bitterness, not at all unpleasant. The malt is present, Polonius to mosaic’s Ophelia, providing a vaporous sweet note that is somewhat misguided. No alcohol, no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3 – Light, watery, soft carbonation.
Impression and summation – 3.5 - The palate is as expected. The flavor and aroma are just above average. The appearance is the real star of the show. This is a very physically attractive IPA that virtually screams “Drink me!” When I do, I find it’s rather shallow. The price of admission is a bit high.

Clear golden amber with handsome fine-grained foam in the tumbler. Malty with just a crisp edge, even kind of dry after the malt washes over. Very aromatic with apricot and plum. Fruity flavor, hints of resin and citrus. Biscuits, a nibble of shortbread.

Mellow is the word. Overall this is fragrant and rather mild hoppy brew. The hoppy bite at the aftertaste reminds you it's an IPA. Very drinkable with the slightly lower ABV. If it was in a Modern Times can people would lap it up. From the 12 oz can purchased at Whidbey Beer Works in Oak Harbor, Wash.

Pours out of the can a beautiful orange-amber with a thick off white head. The smell is awesome, all mosaic, peachy and tropical. The taste is great and a nice change from the typical west coast hop bomb. Tangy and dry on the front end it evolves into a peachy, malty, mellow finish that leaves you wanting for more. Covers the tongue nice and smooth, fills the palette without leaving a syrupy residue. Great beer, I will definitely be looking for more from this brewery.

Orange-amber tap pour, full pint, new keg, very little head Minimal aroma,a bit of pine. The malts are more prominent than the hops in this offering. Finish is thinner than I expected. I'll have to try it another time.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of mild caramel malt, citrus hops, lots of mixed tropical fruit, especially pineapple. Flavor is mild caramel malt, citrus hops, lemon and grapefruit, light tropical and mixed fruit, hints of pine. Finishes with grapefruit rind and lingering resinous citrus hops. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Great Mosaic character to the hops, more intense and complex in the aroma than flavor, which is more citrus oriented. Little flavor to the malt, but the hops are the main attraction here. I was hoping for a little more of the tropical fruit in the flavor that was so dominant in the aroma, but still enjoyed the citrus hop mix and finish. A nicely made and flavorful Mosaic dominated IPA.

12oz can served in a large snifter. 06616 is on the bottom -- maybe that February 25th?.

Pours mostly clear amber-golde with a medium to small head that fades slowly, moderate amount of fine carbonation. Smell is hoppy -- tropical juices, pine, flowers.

Taste is on the bitter side up front, interestingly has a more fruity aftertaste (inverted, compared to most IPAs). A slight creaminess.

Mouthfeel is dry and light. Overall, nice beer.

Fresh and aromatic. Really clean floral/pineapple tasting hop profile as well. The malts definitely play a backdrop to the hops. Overall, a balanced IPA with a slight bite. This is my first brew from Mazama and it's promising. The can seems to help preserve the hop profile as well.

Cloudy pale orange with two fingers of white head with fair retention and a good amount of lacing. Smell is mostly dank hops with a touch of pine and citrus fruit.
Taste is Medium bitter citrus hops with a kiss of pine and herbal hops. Malt level is fairly big for an IPA and makes it even more drinkable. Mouthfeel is smooth with just enough carbonation with a lightly bitter dry finish. Overall a very nice hop combination keeps this from being a pine bomb. Easy drinking relatively malty IPA. At 6% abv and 55 IBUs (from the label) it is much better than any "session" IPA I have tried. I would have it again and having it in a can makes this a fine choice for places where glass bottles can't go.

Can from HomeBrewStuff. Copper/orange pour with small tight creamy head. Citrus, flowery aroma. Taste also accents the hops, Jujubes candy comes to mind, mild soapy character. Flowery notes linger.

12oz can from the COOP... Pours slightly hazed light orange.. foamy head sticks around forever.. Fruity hops make me think papaya and citrus... mango with warmth.. Just enough pale malt to carry the hops but still finishes very dry, I love it... Fantastic summer IPA.. Incredibly drinkable.

Well balanced American IPA with a great blend of hop varieties. Not too bitter, very clean with a great hop nose and and not too much if a malt backbone which helps it taste so refreshing and crisp
