This is a fantastic place to simply have fun. The beer selection is great, with plenty of local brews and several unique selections to be had. Upstairs is large, spacious and definitely beer-hall-ish. Downstairs is like visiting your cool single uncle who has all the neatest things - pool. fooseball, bubble hockey and, yes, 10 pin freaking bowling! It's a busy, loud, happening place with a great selection of beer.

A decent spot in downtown Calgary. A beer hall that is absolutely HUGE with a decent tap list that includes a mix of local beer and US imports. Had Grapefruit Sculpin on tap, which was a great find. Would definitely go back on a future trip to Calgary.

Monday afternoon with the wife, -15C outside, we had the place to ourselves, happy hour from 3-6 with 5$ pints across the board? Charlevoix LVF Imperial Milk stout? count me in. The appy's were half price too and we both had our fill of booze and food for 70$ and for Calgary that's impressive. Ping Pong, Foosball, a bourbon bar and even a fucking bowling ally downstairs. 72 taps? enough to keep me happy but nothing to blow me away, there's something you want to drink and its strange that everything's priced the same, get a strong one or a lager its all the same price. Our server Heather was great, she knew her shit, my stout wasn't cold and she paid attention to our needs. I know I timed it just right and I couldn't see myself here on a weekend night but having a quiet beer bar to play with was great. With Craft next door I'm sure there would be some douche bag overflow when the area gets busy so avoid when the crowds are a sure thing. Head down for a weekday happy hour and I doubt you'll complain.

OUR preferred National location, and a pretty good bar given Calgary. Almost as good a section as 17th street, with a much better environment. You can hear yourself, there are different areas including a bourbon room, and a bowling alley under construction. Very nice physically with the kegs piled up to separate the two main areas. Very friendly and good service by both the waitress and one of the bartenders who showed us around.Easier parking.right out front.2/3 clients were ladies and the place was full. I will be back
