Hey pal, this ain't just some sweet little thang. This fierce, frosted goddess is none other than Strawberry Shortcake, a righteous wheat wine brewed with just enough whole strawberries and fragrant vanilla beans to temper its ferocious nature. So beer bros, take heed: it's time to hail to the queen, baby.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours amber in color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a ring around the edge
S- it does have a pound cake-like aroma, not so much the strawberry but the cake itself, light vanilla and icing undertones. Sweet malt and wheat close it out
T- strawberry up front in the form of a sugary strawberry glaze, followed by some sweet malt that gives some cake-like notes. The finish gives malty caramel, and lingers of sugary pound cake. Pretty impressive how they mimic that pound cake flavor
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns creamy into the finish
O- easy drinking and alcohol hidden pretty well, a good interpretation of what they were going for

Oh look there is bottled on date on the neck and it says bottled on 11/15/17 so I am drinking this beer when it is less than 3 months old. Excellent! After a few big sips I have quickly realized that this one of the best strawberry infused beers that i ever had although I have only had two and I am not going to mention the other beer because I do not want to make anyone feel bad in this review. The 9% abv is hidden really well. The nose is strawberry and creamy sweet. They were not joking when they said that they put strawberries and vanilla into this brew considering that I am getting a ton of both on the taste. Additionally, i'm getting wonderful creamy lacing from the wheat and possibly the vanilla. They are true to what they claim on this bottle. I am getting strawberry shortcake all the way. It's a little too sweet tasting and I am not sure what is causing it to taste that way. I wonder if any artificial ingredients are being used in this beer because it does not say so on the label. Cheers! A-

A: Poured into a snifter to a deep orange topped by a finger of dense off white head which fades to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of strawberries and vanilla with some wheat malt undertones
T: Taste is wheat and vanilla up front followed by a bunch of strawberries with more vanilla. Swallow is huge vanilla and wheat with more strawberries and residual sweetness
M: This beer is on the heavy side of things with a syrupy mouthfeel and light carbonation. The beer has a refreshing finish.
O: Overall this beer is okay. It tastes like what you would expect but I think it's a little too adjunct heavy and sweet.

Thanks to BPK59 for grabbing this in Florida.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice clear light honey hue with a far three finger head that fades to leave a rich blanket.
S - Aromas of cooked strawberries, vanilla cake batter, nice dairy notes, whipped cream. No alcohol noticeable.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, more good strawberry notes, the cake notes are a bit more muted than the nose. The vanilla has an artificial extract flavour. The strawberry is more of an unripe berry notes. Nice wheat wine notes, no alcohol on the notes.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, no alcohol.
O - Overall this was a very solid wheat wine with excellent strawberry notes. Quite pleasant.

Big fluffy creamy thick frothy head fades slowly thick lacing, murky sediment laden tan orange color
Nose nice strawberry, not a ton candy creamy whipped cream too, cool whip, vanilla lactose thing, little vanilla cake batter, raw bread dough, creamy wheat, candy wheat
Taste creamy lactose, fake vanilla kinda flavor unfortunately, lots of lactose, creamy vanilla cake batter, creamy wheat, mild strawberry less than the nose as more under ripe green, more of the wheat wine flavor, faint hint of booze.
Mouth is med bod creamy, decent carb, very little booze
Overall not bad, not enough wheat wine in the aroma, not enough strawberry on the flavor, more artificial vanilla flavor, it's good but not quite the level of other funky Buddha fruit beers.

Strawberry is a difficult flavor to execute, and extract or not, it is showcased well in this particular offering. Another overall impressive brew from funky buddha, not overly sweet, and the fruit doesn't dominate
