Pours out a golden straw color with a foamy head that retreats to a few wisps of foam. Actually smells and tastes like lemon meringue pie! Talk about your truth in advertising. Excellent mouthfeel with perfect carbonation. This beer 100% lives up to the label. If you don't like lemon meringue pie get something else; if you do expect to be amazed!

Another "Funky" beer from this brewery! Poured this blond into a pint glass with anticipated excitement. Hazy, blond with a nice one finger head. The hints of lemon and vanilla do not disappoint and the taste is medium with well-balanced flavor; it tastes like lemon meringue pie. If you enjoyed Last Snow then this is worth the purchase if you like lemon flavors. Tart, sweet and delicious! Funky Buddha does it again and again- please find a way to distribute in Georgia!!

22 oz bottle poured into snifter bottled on 5/19/16 I did not listen to the consume fresh on label or the glass it was meant to be poured in.

A: Bright yellow gold body with excellent clarity. Small white creamy head that disappears totally.

S: Lemons light sweetness some sour grains a light bit of bread

T: Wow its lots of lemon light sour then a crackery doughy almost like crust finish. Not a lot of sweetness but a little in the finish.

M: Medium bodied clings a little to the tongue drinks a bit bigger than it is.

O: This is pretty damn good at being what it says it is, the vanilla is so mellow its undiscernable that could be due with the age of the beer, but this beer works.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter. The smell of this beer reminds me of a lemon-lime soda. The taste comes across as being more natural as it has some crisp lemon notes that are slightly puckering. The vanilla adds a mild layer of smoothness to the light and prickly mouthfeel.

22oz bottle poured into a pilsener glass

A- pours a bright clear straw color with a two-finger foamy white head that has great retention long after the pour, leaving some lacing behind

S- aroma is a nice mixture of lemon and vanilla cream, even some custard notes. Undertones of toasted malt even gives it a pie crust-like aroma to compliment the vanilla and cream

T- opens with flavors of lemon custard & vanilla cream, the lemon is just slightly tart, but mostly sweet, much like a lemon meringue. Mid-palate gives some toasted malt notes, with doughy crust notes. The finish gives more lemon and vanilla cream that lingers to wrap up the experience

M- medium-light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp, slightly sweet finish

O- another food flavored success from FB. Light, refreshing and super drinkable

Very one-dimensional and excessively sweet. The lemon is there but that's about it. The base is drowned out by the sweet lemon flavour. Despite the interesting flavour profile, it was difficult to finish a taster due to the sweetness.
