Really did not like this beer. I did, however, appreciate the banana flavor in the beer. Wish I would have loved this but it was just too odd of a taste for me

Good Hefeweizen. Pours a slightly hazy gold color from a 12 oz bottle into an Aventinus Weizen glass. Big foamy, bubbly white head with good retention. Broken rings of foamy lacing on the glass. The aroma and taste cover all bases. A little wheat bitterness, big flavor of banana and cloves (bubblegum) from the yeast. Very nice. Mouthfeel istart and refreshing, just the right note of wheat bitterness. One of the better American hefes.

On tap at World of Beer in Orlando. Looks like your typical hefeweizen, cloudy yellow-orange. Aroma is subdued and I really don;t get the traditional hefeweizen flavors from this. Kind of ho-hum to be honest.

Had this in tap at the T-Rex Cafe at Disney Springs. The beer was thick bright orange in appearance with a thin white head served with an orange slice. The beer had ripe citrus orange peel aromas mixed with a bready wheat smell. Taste followed the nose by making a very nice orange flavor with hops. The mouthfeel was pretty good through a well carbonated and refreshing body. Overall, an excellent and attractive appearance with its other features being well-rounddd and pretty good.

Given FBB's reputation, I was expecting a great beer; especially refreshing, cultivated to compensate for the Florida sun and humidity. Instead, average was produced.
While this clearly has the nose and taste of a hefe-, Floridian slips particularly in the mouthfeel: too thin, too carbonated, not creamy and probably more hops than needed. (The hops I can understand for the market, just not my preference being a traditionalist.)
But, this was good enough to have again... on a hot day when I am eager for refreshment.
