22 oz. bottle

Pours black with a creamy tan khaki colored foam head. Smells like dark chocolate syrup, espresso coffee, sweet maple syrup, pancakes, brown sugar, vanilla, molasses, caramel, toffee, toasted malts, mild smoky bacon, with earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like dark bitter baking chocolate, black espresso coffee, sweet maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, dark molasses, caramel, toffee, pancakes, toasted malt, mild smoky bacon, with earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a really nice imperial maple bacon coffee porter.

Poured into spiegelau. Big foamy frothy head that lasts a little bit, standard dark color, slight lacing. Smell of maple, light smokiness, and even a little chocolate. Just the right amount of maple on the taste, the bacon has a subtle presence underneath. Very smooth, not oily at all, and the flavors blend together well. Killer brew.

Had this on tap at World of Beer in Destin. Very expensive brew

Appearance- A dark black with about a finger of darker tan head which faded quickly. A nice sticky lacing down the glass.

Smell- Dark chocolate, a deep roasted coffee, and maple syrup mixed to perfection. It reminded me of hot chocolate mix served with breakfast pancakes. I really did not get any of the bacon in the smell. The smell says hurry up and take a drink.

Taste- Maple syrup to the maximum. The coffee and chocolate are almost an aftertaste for the my first sip. More complex of a mix as I continued. Some vanilla and smokey malt flavors start coming through with a little saltiness. It is smooth and drinkable with no hint of the high alcohol content.

Mouthfeel- Low carbonation with a sticky feel left behind. It lingers so nicely.

Overall- My first experience from Funky Buddha and it was so impressive. A maple syrup bomb with chocolate and a dark brew kicker. Get it if you can find it.
