12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin collar that leaves little lacing.

The aroma is sweet corny grains with a little fruit.

The flavor is sweet corny grain with a slightly harsh bitter finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a bit of a mess.

Poured into an Odyssey shaker glass.

Look: Clear light golden body under a fizzy white head, little or no lacing.

Aroma: Very sweet doughy malts, wet cereal grains, subtle dry grass.

Taste: Just like the aroma, almost too sweet -- soggy cereal and sweet malt bill with a nice touch of dry lemongrass for balance.

Mouthfeel: Watery and light, actually perfect.

Overall: True to style and well balanced after it warms. Seemed to start out too sweet.

(As "PalmTree Pilsner"):

12 fl oz can nabbed as part of an Odyssey variety box.

Not much of a pilsner by any stretch, but judged as a generic lager it's okay at best.

L:. Pours a very clear straw yellow with a medium white head and no lacing.

S:. Sweet malt mixed with a light lemon, some grain. Not the strongest aroma.

T:. Light to medium bitterness, some floral hops, not necessarily a lot of malt flavor.

F:. Light and crisp.

O:. Not overly reminiscent of a pilsner.
