Harness the power of the mighty sun with Heliocentric Hefeweizen. A style known for its signature banana esters and clove spiciness, Hefeweizens have been made for centuries in Germany and harken back to an older era of ale brewing. Literally meaning “Yeast Wheat”, Hefe’s are served unfiltered, with abundant haze and bright, bready wheat flavors. Helio aims to capture this storied history and illuminate interest in tradition. Adhering to Reinheitsgebot, we brew Heliocentric with malted grain, pure Arvada water, European hops, and healthy German Weizen yeast. Embrace the light and enjoy Heliocentric all year long.

Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival a 1 finger head bone white head was present that pretty quickly dissipated to a vague cap and ring around the glass. Body is a light straw with classic hefe haze.
Aroma is pretty damn close to a traditional German. The problem with craft hefes is they get a bit grainy and attenuated instead of estery, but this has some banana amd it's pretty dman clean too. Wheat, yeasty, and a bit banana-y this is good.
Taste. It's bright for a hefe but it has a nice sweet caramel banana finish. This is one of the better Non-German craft hefeweizens I've had to be completely honest. Refreshing and bright with a carb loaded sweet but bright fruity finish. This is again pretty damn good.
Feel is carbonated and refreshing with a mouth coating maltiness. Not drying to the point its almost hydrating! Super fun with full body amd refreshing carbonated vibes. This is a German style Hefeweisen!
Overall the suggestion I got was correct! This is a damn good brewery. Tasty, authentic, and refreshing hefeweisen in the true German style woth ko weird lemon notes and some hig sweet yeasty banana notes. I'm pleased.

I'm not a big hefeweizen guy, but this one was very good. I liked it more than anything else I've had from this brewery, so with that said I'm a little more enthusiastic about looking for their stuff when available. Many of the reviews here are older, so I wonder if they have altered the recipe a bit over time. If so, thumbs up to this version.

Cloudy, yellow body with a thin white yet lasting head. Aroma delivers hints of cloves and bananas with a strong grassy quality. The flavor mimics a lot of the smell qualities; some light, toasted grain notes. Mostly medium-heavy in body yet with a lush, rather velvety quality.
A decent, pretty straight-forward German inspired hefeweizen. Perhaps not as refined with the esters and phenols like top-quality German examples, yet tasty enough. And the mouthfeel pretty well nails the classic hefeweizen styling. Worth a try...

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
Look: Unfiltered straw yellow with a white head that slowly fades into a film. Light dots of watery lacing stay on the glass.
Aroma: Bready malt grains with subtle banana esters and a lot of clove notes.
Taste: Starts out bready and doughy up front, very malty with perfect sweetness. A little bit of banana and cloves, a touch of that pink bubblegum flavor before ending with a tangy hop finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light.
Overall: Pretty solid, I think they have the style represented well.
