I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight whilst their for the Eagle River Pond hockey tournament. It poured a golden color with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

16oz can, date stamped 17-166. Thanks to my friend, Derek, for sharing his stash that was picked up by his friend who visited Wisconsin recently.
A - hazy and chunky amber colored body with a creamy ivory head that quickly fades to a foam
S - grapefruit zest and pith, pine, mango, caramel malt
T - malt and hop both boldly present: nutty, toasty grain, and caramel is quickly followed by pungent piney and grapefruity hops that punish the palate with dry bitterness
M - very creamy to start, then resinous, then insanely dry with bitter pine lingering on and on as bitterness builds with each sip. I kind of like it because it keeps me coming back for more destruction of the palate
O - old school American IPA flavors with wicked bitterness. I can't complain.

Pours a light orangish almost coppery color with white colored head. Citrus, grapefruit, other light fruits, and some piney notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with a nice dank hop note and citrus.

A fantastic IPA from a little known and very underrated brewery.

Light orange, minimal head, possibly due to the growler not holding up.
Dank earthy pine the primary aroma, atop caramel malt
Grapefruit, caramel malt, with a black pepper, saltine cracker, and orange rind finish. Lovely.
A bit undercarbonated (possibly the growler?) but smooth and viscous.
This was delicious and the best IPA I've had in awhile. I liked the flavor, thirst-quenching and with the right amount of bite.
