I have the same can in picture but note it is 28 Lake Dortmunder Lager not Eight Lake Dortmunder Lager.
Pours a hazy, oak color...not a big aroma but some grainy notes....
Grainy and malty flavor...sweetish....helles like but a little sweeter....not as balanced with as a Dort should be with a minimal hop backing with just some light spicy hop notes....great tasting though...
Biggest issue is the very low carbonation.
The scores don't indicate it but I like this quite a bit..at least its flavor...just need to amp up the carbonation a notch or two and bring in a bit more of the spicy hops...

16oz can, dated 17-138, shared with my father-in-law who likes all things German [style]. Thanks to my friend, Derek, for sharing his stash that was picked up by his friend who visited Wisconsin recently.
A - aggressive pour reveals a hazy golden body with a thin white head that dissipates quickly
S - noble hop aroma with earthy grass and spicy hops along with some biscuity pale malt
T - moderate sharp hop bite is balanced with some grainy sweetness; earthy & grassy hops are a nice complement
M- light creamy body, finishes dry with a some spicy hop bitterness
O - easy drinking, quaffable dortmunder style bier. No complaints here.

On tap at the taproom in Eagle River. Clean lager with biscuit nose and taste. Described as 'bitterness akin to a German Pilsner' but I felt that it need more hops.
