One of my favorite German beers, it has a nice crisp flavour, and is very drinkable.

Goes great with a BBQ on a hot summer day.

Has a standard yellow color, pours a thin head that dissipates quickly. Has a nice mouthfeel with slightly more carbonation than I usually like, but its not offensive. Has a nice clean flavour and is very easy to drink.

I buy this regularly.

Golden clear beer with lovy carbonation and a small yet persistent white head.
Served in .5 l glass.
Nice malty and noble hop aromas
Balanced and refreshing taste. Hoppy finish.
Nice well carbonated mouth feel.
A good traditional polish.

On tap at Bronwyn in Boston, MA.

This one pours a clear pale yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like sweet malt, crackery malt, light grassy hops, and lemon.

This is a bit too sweet for the style, unfortunately, and doesn't quite have the crispness I really crave out of the style. It's pretty subdued as well, with only a slight touch of bitterness. I didn't hate it, but I'm certainly not going to seek it out again.

This is light bodied, a bit slick, with a typical level of carbonation. It's pretty drinkable.

There are numerous better German pilsners out there. This wasn't too too bad, but it certainly had some flaws.

A pleasure to find a new brewer after a long day of touring Munich on foot. Furstenberg's Premium is refreshing and a bit above average.
Looks are decent, a head of large bubbles and a color that is a deeper pale than typically pils are.
Smells are mostly malt and not that much. Hops finally come through in the Taste which is balanced. Finishes semi-dry and a bit thin. But the bubbles do their job.

My first and probably only from Furstenberg (since they don't seem to distribute except regionally and I don't see myself coming back to Bavaria for a while since this was my first time in 65 years.) Furstenber's website did not have a readily accessible English button, so they get only a cursory review. A 13th Century brewer, they market their beer as a part of cultural events... which seemed to be mostly rock concerts. But, whatever. They are in a small town near Zurich, so barely Bavaria anyway.

Pours a very pale, straw gold. A little head that settles on top. Lazy bubbles.

Nose is very subdued...not much of anything. Faint grain.

Taste is similar....low profile, light malt, slightly peppery.

Crisp, middle of the road carbonation. Easy drinking. No big flaws but nothing stands out either.
