Sort of a hazy yellowish/brown amber colour topped by very fine bubbles. Some streaky lacing. The aroma was a mess - lots of acetaldehyde and DMS. It smelled of green apples, cooked veggies, and lemon. Nasty. Mild flavour overall, but what's there isn't good. Again with veggies. Even though the carbonation seemed to be on the low side it still was quite sharp. There just wasn't much to redeem this beer other than its appearance. Drain pour.

Thanks for sharing this biegaman!

Thanks for bringing this biegaman!

Pours a hazy red/orange, thick white head forms, nice lacing and retention, looks okay. Smell is bad, vegetables, caramel, some wheat, butter, citrus, generally unpleasant. Taste is the same, iron, some roast and chocolate, veggies, citrus, yeast, wheaty, bit of banana and clove, again generally unpleasant. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium to high carbonation, thanks a lot Jan!

biegaman was nice enough to share this one with me. thanks jan!

500ml bottle.

pours slightly hazy reddish amber with a big off-white head. drops fairly quick and leaves spotty lace.

aroma is kind of unpleasant. lots of dms. bit of green apple. yeast. spice and bananna.

taste is similar to the aroma. lots of green apple. bananna. yeast and spice. cracker malt. corn, broccoli, asparagus?

mouthfeel is ok. above average carbonation level. light bodied.

drinkability is not good. this one was not very enjoyable and tough to get down. won't go looking for this one again.

Appearance: hazy, no floating yeast and a coppery brown color. The head is off-white, large with good retention (not much lacing).
Aroma: fruity with some hints of cooked vegetables. Not very impressive.
Taste: confirms the smell.
Mouthfeel: smooth, strong carbonation, reasonable alcoholic strength (5.4% ABV) and a thin body.
Finish: very shot aftertaste.

Overall: I am a big fan of weizen beers and this one is simply just acceptable. It is not horrible but it is far from great either.

Bottle: Poured a dark brownish color dunkel with a big bubbly head with better then average retention. Aroma of cloves and banana is very weak with some sweet malt also noticeable. Taste of banana and cloves are again too subtle for the style IMO with a very light body. I guess this one is average at best but clearly not something I would seek again.

Pours with good head, much of which fades but leaves behinds some bubbles. Nice colour, shades of red, purple, yellow - reminds me of a sunset. Some faint, dark wheat notes in the distance. Dark fruity notes too. All in all this tastes like it is very off. Overpowering offputting pungeancy. Taste really odd too. Put simply: rotten bananas with DMS. Quite nice beyound the DMS, unfortunately there is NO getting around that. This taste like a pilsner with some dark malt and wheat added. Really poor.
Thanks all the same Blankboy!!!

Slightly hazy mid-brown colour. Pours a big head that settles to a thin film. Gives up just a hint of spotty lace.

Soft aroma dominated by cloves. Thin bodied mouthfeel, some creaminess. Taste is mild cloves, wheat. Gentle puckery finish.

Overall insufficient presence to be interesting. Not offensive, but not inspirational either - take it or leave it.

500ml Bottle

Appearance - The beer pours a hazy brown colour with a very large frothy and fluffy beige coloured head. I can't make out how much carbonation there is and there is some average lacing. The head lasted for several minutes before it began to dissipate.

Smell - malts, cloves, bananas, breads/grains

Taste & Mouth - The beer has quite a bit of carbonation and feels light and creamy on the tongue. The taste is made up of malts, breads/grains, very light chocolate, and bananas. There is also a slightly metallic taste. The beer finishes with a malty banana aftertaste.

Drink - I enjoyed my first few sips of the beer but started to notice and slightly off taste as I progressed through the glass. It just seems to be lacking the balance of some of the other beers in this category. I wouldn't seek this one out again.

Cloudy copper hue, big well-laced off-white head lasts long. Interesting yeasty nose comes out peppery, bready with notes of lime and banana. Light taste reminds of banana muffin and/or caramel cookies. Soft body with immense carbonation. Pretty decent in its style, but I'm not huge on wheat beers in general.

A - Pours a dark Amber color with a nice tight white head that retains well.

S - Aromas of sweet sugars and grainy malt.

T - Burnt caramel flavour that has a sweetish banana touch. A little one dimensional.

M - Light crisp mouthfell and low carbonation.

O - Wouldn't to go after this again.

A hazy, light brown beer with a huge head and an enormous amount of mousse.

Smell is spicy without the strong clove and banana. These smells are rather subdued. The wheat adds a grainy smell and there is a clear caramellic smell of the 'dark' malts.

Taste is spicy again without the stronger yeast products of clove and banana. Wheat is apparent and the caramel adds a slight astringent taste. Aftertaste is dry and caramellic, body is thin. Drinkability was not great, I seem to miss the yeast complexity and a bit bite.

A- A careful pour yields a full glass of stable almost nitro like head. It's white with the slightest brown tint to it. For some reason, on later pours, the head has lost the brown tint, is frothier and less nitro-like. Long, thick lacing looks a little like puzzle pieces. Liquid is an almost opaque dark caramel. I'd grade this a lot higher if the liquid wasn't so dull. The head is beautiful.

S- Burnt wheat. Yeast. Hint of banana. Some sort of floral perfume. Metallic boiled greens. Alcohol once warm enough.

T- Caramel, burnt wheat and sweet, slightly soapy, banana after-taste. A bit metallic.

M-Light but lively carbonation. Almost crisp. Kind of dry. Too watery in my opinion.

D- Good. One 500ml bottle was enough.

Looks very nice and tastes good but not something Id want much more of.

Cloudy amber brown colour. Aroma is weak with malt, spice and wheat. Flavour is lots of malt and spice with wheat and hop. Mouthfeel is very nice. I'm a little surprised that this is ranked the low. I really enjoyed this beer. Purchased at the SAQ. Boogy!

More or less agreeable weizen. On the brown side with a good pouring head. Easy drinking, while creamy, medium or thinner mouthfeel. Somewhat malt chocolate sweet and chocolatey. Drying finish.
Available in the SAQ, Quebec. Average and not objectionable beer.

A - A hazy dark orange with lots of nice white head and lots of visible carbonation.
S - Sour, tart, citrusy, orangey, and slightly boozy towards the end. A yeasty smell, but not very strong.
T - Quite sour, lots of yeasty tastes quite a bit a malt, bread tastes and solid bitterness. No aftertaste and a whip quick finish.
M - Zingy, light, quite nice for the style.
D - Not so bad, but a bit too sour for drinkability.
