16oz tallboy can, sample from the brewery.

Amazing head retention, lots of lacing on the glass. Pretty damn hazy but not completely opaque. Lots of orange peel, zest and rind in the nose. Smooth with an orange pith flavor, lots of hop character though the bitterness is somewhat soft. Doughy biscuity grain, grassy, and dry in the middle. There is some balance here though the murky character distracts a bit. If this brew was cleaned up a tab bit more we'd have something a whole lot more to talk about. Worth a go regardless.

Had Pulp, NE Nectar, and 1st Meal on tap at the release on Saturday, January 30th, then went home and enjoyed at least 4 cans of the Pulp, because it was that good.

L: Pours hazy, cloudy, orange

S: Fruits, fruits, fruits, lots of orange, mango, and tangerine on the nose

T: A fruit bomb! Incredibly orange and juicy. Lots of fruits and zero bitterness.

F: Smooth, soft and crisp

O: I have a growler and 5 cans left from my stash. I'm sharing 3 cans with friends, and I'm starting to wonder how much those friendships mean to me....just kidding! This beer is fantastic, and I truly wish I purchased more. I can drink this all day, every day.

Had this on firkin. Definitely pulpy but not as opaque as I would have expected. Very little smell at all, kind of weird. Definite OJ taste, very good. I'd be curious to have this from a can and see how it compares.

I don't always comment on beer, but when I do I don't ramble on and on using a bunch of foo foo words.... Mr. Cakes says enjoy!

Pours a hazy orange with modest head. Smells fairly subdued tropical fruit with some citrus. Taste is juicy juicy juicy with minimal hop bitterness. Did I say juicy? Nice creamy mouthfeel and a gentle carbonation. All of the flavors work well together to create a very cohesive brew. Would like a little more complexity but overall a delicious departure for RAR. Pulp along with Hyde are my two favorite offerings from this highly promising brewery. More, please!
