Poured from a 12 ounce can into snifter glass. It's black as night and there was no head. Smells sweet, alcoholic and brown sugar like, maybe with molasses. The taste is like more brown sugar than molasses, sweet and alcoholic. Maybe with some vanilla too. The mouthfeel is smooth and alcoholic. Definitely a sipper. Overall an impressive Barrel-Aged brew that is high in alcohol but not stated on the can. No date either. It does say Batch #2. It's an excellent brew I think most craft beer lovers would appreciate.

Pours a pitch black color with a small foamy head. Very mild retention and good lacing. Strong boozy vanilla aroma. Boozy, boozy taste. Strong vanilla. Huge alcohol burn. Heavy bodied. Mild carbonation.

Black pour, headless except for a moch-tan ring. Decent lacing.
Smells of nicely roasted malts but also some mint which is nice, and then the alcohol hits the nose.
Tastes is rolled oats, baking cocoa and dark mats. Perhaps mint and tobacco...
But it’s tough to get TOO specific because while what’s there is quite tasty, there is a LOAD of alcohol dominating the flavors. Boozy is one thing, but this screams alcohol.
That aspect is too bad, but the mouthfeeli is good, medium and chewy, very low carbonation and with some stickiness. A dry finish with the bite of the booze.
I wanted to get this because all oatmeal stouts I’ve tried I felt needed to be bolder and sweeter. This one nails the former and falls somewhat short on the latter ONLY because of the liquor-heavy blanket that smothers the goods.
