Inspired by classic Old World farmhouse ales, Boundary Tree was crafted with a base of Pilsner and Dark malts for a burnished golden color, and brewed with Hallertau Blanc and Citra hops for a balanced bitterness with hints of citrus. Fermentation with our Classic Saison yeast strain, along with additional conditioning in the bottle, give it a crisp effervescence and dry finish that are characteristic of the Saison style.

100% bottle refermented. Unfiltered. Store bottle upright at cellar temperature. Serve at 45F-55F.

Pours a hazed dark amber, rocky offwhite head settles in a minute to a half inch cap, rings of thick lace stick. Smell: peppery and mildly grassy, caramel, cereal grains, sharp citrus and unripe mango notes. Taste: dried papaya, orange, apricot jam; big peppery pop cuts through with mild spicy and grassy components following; sweet bready backdrop, with some sharp citrus rind and spicy and powdery notes in the finish. Pillowy feel, medium-plus bodied, oily and semi-sticky finish. Very well done and the best of the hop-forward saisons from BFB.

Slightly hazy amber color with a big white head that traces nicely down the glass. Citrus hop balanced nicely with the malts. Peppery taste as well.

12 pz can. Golden pour with fluffy head and good retention. Aroma features the Belgian yeast, while the taste adds a touch of hops for a nice bitterness. Full bodied, tasty

Good beer; more of a Belgian IPA to me, but enjoyable.

Pours golden-orange, with a white head that has good retention. A bit of lacing sticks to the glass.

Fruity hop aromas of grapefruit, orange, grape, and touches of lemon zest are nicely balanced with clove and bubblegum from the yeast.

The flavor, again, features the delicate balance of hops and yeast. A firm bitterness gives way to those same notes of citrus and grape, accompanied by a soft Belgian yeast flavor characterized by clove and spice. Malt flavor plays a background role here.

Body is on the light, dry side with medium-high carbonation.

Overall, I enjoyed this beer quite a lot and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Bonus points for a creative name.

Can from John's, poured into tulip. All sorts of head. Very good, though prefer the less hoppy Blackberry Farm saisons.

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a cloudy orange-yellow color with almost 2 inches of rocky, off-white head that had good retention and light lacing.

nice yeast spice was at the front of the nose, with solid base grains underneath. Floral, earthy hops round out the olfactory aspect.

Pretty same on the tongue, but I thought the hops were very muted.

The body was nicely medium, crisp, lots of good carbonation all across the tongue, and had a dry finish.

Drinkability was very good, I could have easily knocked back a couple more cans.

Overall, a very nice brew, certainly worth your time if you see it.
