On can at Las Buenas Pulgas. Black colour, just a hint of a head, tiny lacing. Aroma is a bit smokey, coffee, some chocolate, dried fruits, cinnamon, vanilla and soy sauce. Full body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. Boozy finish. Taste is smokey too, coffee, dried fruits, vanilla, chocolate and soy sauce. Good.

L- Pitch black. Not a photon gets through this, not even a flash of deep ruby-red when held up right by a halogen bulb. Pours with 2mm pale tan head, receding to a ring.
S- Deep pungent 'roasty/toasty' + coffee. Cocoa tries to get through, surrenders to an alcohol wave instead.
T- Pungent coffee that lingers until it's eventually overtaken by a broad sweep of 'Here's the 11.2%!!' alcohol tang.
F- Pungent! Though it seems the ABV% comes in and balances the ristretto-strength coffee facet. The ABV% is clear, so to me this is a slow-sipping beer, ideal for winter. Exactly as with my previous review for a Norwegian Imperial (US) Stout the carbonation is strikingly low. Though here at 11.2% it's absence leaves less of a gap.
O- Pungent, intense, different. An idiosyncratic beer to try esp if you're into heavy black beers.
Bought from London Beer Lab, Brixton, 330ml can BB: 02/June/2024 [4+1/2 years hence!].

Pours a small head and a dark-as-night body.
Has a rather aggressive bitter smell, especially for a stout. There's some coffee and dried fruit here, but for the most part the nose is defined by what I can best describe as tar. Curious smell, but not necessarily something I'm excited about.
Taste is similar to smell, but slightly less restrained, which is probably a good thing. There is not much balance besides some bitter malts, but it's fine I suppose. Mouthfeel is solid.
There are some beers that I appreciate because I like where they are going, even if they miss the mark. I just don't know what Eternal Darkness was aiming for. Which, to be fair, may be completely the fault of my own palate.

Very dark brown, pour is unremarkable but nothing bad. Medium head thins out quickly. Boozy imperial stout, dank hops. For this style / ABV just a hair thin for me, but perfectly drinkable and enjoyable.
